I ended up trying a bunch of things with Openssl. Having the required .so files now gives the error that Openssl1.0.2 can't be found. I tried installing openssl1.0.2 and I must have linked some stuff wrong cause now my system says i have openssl1.0.2 but the same "version not found error" still happens when running runescape.

I think I'll just play with the graphics settings with the snap version and wait for a fix from Jagex at this point.

I got old school runescape good in wine stable 5 on fedora 32. but one thing i can not get runing good in wine is runescape 3 and snap has to many bugs . i had it on lutris but it stop working . Any other method of running Runescape 3, I would love to see a official repository . to install the runescape 3 launcher

I did following for oldschool
sudo dnf -y install dnf-plugins-core


sudo dnf config-manager --add-repo https://dl.winehq.org/wine-builds/fedora/31/winehq.repo

sudo dnf -y install winehq-stable

winecfg

windows 10
install old chool Runescape form the official website

I have debian buster and it was a matter of downloading and extracting form

http://security.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/pool/main/o/openssl/libssl1.0.0_1.0.2g-1ubuntu4.16_amd64.deb

and copy the two .so files to /usr/lib

don't do anything with the openssl folder in there

I am sorry but i am a noob when it comes to Linux . when it comes to flatpack . what do i need to type ? I already have have the file libssl1.0.0 and ibssl.so.1.0.0. I did
dnf install openssl
. What do i need to type
flatpak --user override --env=LD_LIBRARY_PATH=/packages/usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu com.jagex.RuneScape
flatpak --user override --filesystem=/packages com.jagex.RuneScape
is this correct ?
