Official support? Pffft, like that'd ever happen.

Just a quick happy update here. Switched to Manjaro Gnome and with the sound fix you provided earlier, everything is working perfectly. Yay! :)

Well I did have the sound problem when first time running RS on this installation (2.8.), then quit rs and ran

echo "PULSE_LATENCY_MSEC='100'" > ~/snap/rslauncher/current/rs3-user-config

after which I haven't had the problem. I don't really know if it was the command that fixed it or if it was restarting after first time running or something else though.

There appears to be rs3-user-config in both ~/snap/rslauncher/7/ and ~/snap/rslauncher/current/ but I don't know if that was the case before as well. :P

Hello,

I'm running the latest version of Linux Mint and followed the git hub guide to download the client.

When I launch RS3 through the Runescape Unix Client Launcher my game crashes as it's checking for updates. When I check the crash log I get an error stating something about illegal reflective access

Any advice? Id be happy to get you the official crash log if you could direct me the right way

I'm not sure what is an illegal reflective access however, I have a hunch that you're getting this error message because of the version of Java that was installed. So... what version of Java was installed? You might need an older version like a version of Java 8.
