Turns out the behaviour has been reverted correctly, so items appear immediately to all players like you describe.

Solo boss option seems to be doing well so far

What we'd have really liked is ONE question where you'd be allowed to tick up to 3 answers. That way we could see people's choices on-screen straight away, with no maths required.
The website poll system doesn't support that. It lets us do questions where you must give 1 answer, and questions where you can tick as many boxes as you like, but nothing more flexible.
I could make the in-game polls do it, though, if people are ever willing for us to remove the website poll form. Last week's figures say that over 90% of voters are using the in-game poll booths.
Anyway, that's a thought for the future, and we don't have to go there at all if people would prefer to keep the website poll form available.
