i think 2/3 is a pretty high number of people,

but anyway, so you want to get phats every year , wich has no point in my opninion?

love the ideas in this blog. 2 things however.

1) rainbow phats should NOT be tradeable.

agreed

2) the GWD pets SHOULD be tradeable. since they do not benefit like armor to give an advantage over anyone, they are simply cosmetic. It would also be cool to see for once in RS history that a pet is now tradable. I love that mini forms of the gods will be able to follow you around. As for me, I do have a lot of gp, but I do not like bossing. I would like to have one of the pets if I could buy one. This would also allow for players to make more money and a bigger market for other gods that aren't killed as much because of their lack of rewards compared to bosses like Bandos.

And you are entitled to that opinion, and I would kill to defend your right to it.

But...

...doesn't change the fact that the poll phailed to pass, and the community did not desire discontinued items enough for it to pass.

oke man, lets say we follow the poll of non consensus, whats your solution, i want phats to have some kind of special value , not a random item everyone can buy each year , or get at a xmas event,

my solution, make them untradable, its the same solution jagex had fo the bunny ears and all the other holiday items,

Having just got my black mask - the old fashioned way, killing cave horrors - I have certainly been thinking I would like the updated slayer mask... so I will be voting yes to a lot of that update - but not all... I feel some is going too far. Not really interested in the co-op slayer, I did it in eoc, but that was mainly to help a friend, not for myself personaly

You may want that, but apparently the community as a whole does not.

yep your right m8 , but we didnt ask to get phats, halloween masks every single year,

the poll stated we wont discontinue them oke,

but the poll didn't state we will get them each year now,

cuz imo that poll would get even lower votes.

well , i think if you made this question into a poll

would you like to get partyhats, halloween masks , each year for their respective holidays,

yes or no,

maybe 30% imo would vote yes, so they i think they cannot ignore that

i gotta say..i too also agree that its pretty...silly.. to give out party hats every year...
some things have been re polled.. and i think this is one of the few things that needs to be..
when osrs started..the majority of people seemed to be rejecting most ideas..
now it seems to be there doing the opposite..
seems like there accepting most of them..
that would an encredicbly ridiculous amount of party hats circulating..
while gold is not the major item i strive for in this game..
i do admit that i like having nice or expensive things..
i remember back in the day that one of my far off dreams was to own a partyhat...
why? because not everyone owned one..
and
because it seemed a sense of accomplishment of saving and scrimping to get one..
i did achieve that goal..and the feeling was awesome..
i truly felt very proud of my phat..
and maybe inside some of us we still have that feeling..
and maybe if they discontinue phats someday they will become valuable again
and finally..by joining osrs in this first year..
we all have a one up on those that join later..
im not greedy..or anything..
but sometimes being in the right place..at the right time is what we need..

we NEED something to make goals for..and party hats were meant to be awesome..
its a whole lot better than a silly pumpkin or something being worths billions someday..
at least the partyhat is something we can wear with pride..
why not..
theres gonna be things that will be valuable..aqnd the partyhat is classic...like os right?
