i think in this case the best, is to give every1 , two phat sets, so you cut 1 up for an untradable rainbow phat, and you keep 1 phat set for urself

there nothing special about them anymore, if in 2 years they still give phats, or rainbow phats.
some people dont get the point of holiday items, its to show you where playing around that time, in the game,
if people get the same rewards each year, whats the point of getting one.

I think there are better ways of having unique items. Maybe an anniversary cape every year. That would show you have been around awhile. I think it's important that all players have access to holiday items whether they are seasoned players or new members. Allowing only seasoned players to have the holiday items creates an elite group.
The point of getting one is to show that you attended the holiday event not that you have a unique item. Holidays should be special for all and not a money making event.

they will first do a poll, and then see what players want, i don't think players want tradable rainbow phats, i sure as hell dont, but i dont want to get normal phats, each year for xmas, they wont be special whatsoever, in my opinion, just give phats 1 more time for this xmas, for a period of 2 weeks, so that way every1 gets the chanse to get them,
giving phats each year has just no point at all.
