Honestly it is a little too overwhelming to be polling all of this stuff at once. Definitely voting no to artisan, but all of the other stuff is too much at once. Poll just a few of them a week. I'm probably going to vote no to all anyways just because you guys REALLY need to revamp old content first. Shades of Mort'ton, Trouble Brewing, Temple Trekking, etc.

Even though I'd like a lot of this stuff to be added into game, if it passes, you guys will continue to ignore content that needs to be revamped.

And... For Saradomin's sake.. fix xp at Ents!!

You're talking about revamping minigames not skills so your argument is kinda invalid.

Seems like a real good addition to this game.
the skill itself sounds great and still manages to not influence the gameplay of those who dont want to use it.
As for the esoteric robes... it has quite high requirements to create, but its use is an extreme boost - i think they need wether way higher wearing requirements or be removed completely

But since the majority seems to ignore that... please dont let people vote who have more than 7 skills below 30? ;)

Somehow no one mentioned it as far as i did read: i know its possible to block tasks, but dark crabs and black chins shouldn't be in there at all, please dont force skillers into the wildnis.
could be fixed by placing those in the new skill areas :)

so yea, just a bit more work on the skill and no sane person will have a real reason against it

"Players can unlock the ability to craft certain artisan items outside of an artisan task by using artisan points"

This was my main qualm originally: as long as skillers are capable of actually making money out of this skill, it will be used. Otherwise, it will die.
Assuming that the "items" are the ones that people actually want to be able to make for cash/general skilling (runes, crossbows, tools, and for the sake of firemaking's survival alone - slow burning coal), I will now be willing to change my no vote to a yes vote.

Before, there was just no reason to train the skill, as the chances that you'd actually be able to get a profitable task was minimal to zero. This obviously made it unbalanced in comparison with slayer, where you can kill whatever you want for cash alone, assuming you have the levels; giving skillers a distinct disadvantage. Spending artisan points to gain the ability to make these profitable items any time you like, seems like a very fair compromise. Just please price them fairly - don't rush to make the prices low enough to access things at all easily. I'd expect to spend about 30-50 hours accumulating points, just to be able to purchase the ability to permanently make something good.

90% in favour of artisan now though. Shall be voting yes.

If you don’* want the artisan skill as a whole, should we introduce a level 20 tree called the Ash tree?
If you don’* want the artisan skill as a whole, should we introduce a level 50 tree called the Elm tree?
If you don’* want the artisan skill as a whole, should we introduce a level 85 tree called the Redwood tree?
If you don’* want the artisan skill as a whole, should we introduce a level 60 quartz ore?
If you don’* want the artisan skill as a whole, should we introduce a level 80 hunter creature called the great kyatt?
If you don’* want the artisan skill as a whole, should we introduce a level 85 hunter creature called the wolverine?
If you don’* want the artisan skill as a whole, should we add fish fillets as described in the developer blog to the cooking skill?
If you don’* want the artisan skill as a whole, should we add carvings as described in the developer blog to the crafting skill?

YES TO ALL ABOVE, no to the rest on the list.

They really should learn to take a hint. As you saw from last Artisan poll, the majority of the community DO NOT want it. So stop trying to butter us up with more dev blogs and just move on. The only new skill I will vote yes for is SAILING!
