@Jagex

I have to wonder why you don't take player submitted ideas from the feedback section and add them to Artisan. Some of your own ideas are good, but if you would take ideas from your players more often, this game would blow up in popularity. The players usually know best. I've seen countless amazing ideas on the forum and it makes me so sad that only 10% of it actually gets added to the game.

RS3 took WoW's path of ultra-convenience and that turned off a lot of people, so they fled here. Now you are trying to introduce the gratuitous travel, experience, and material bonuses of RS3 through this new skill. Some of these perks, despite your words to the contrary, devalue existing content; increasing yield and lowering requirements make an item less scarce, driving its prices down.

In short, I don't like it; what I really want is info on the new continent. It's updates like those that used to make me excited about Runescape.

PS: Tell your shareholders or whatever businessman holds a sword to your neck that this game will never reach RS3 numbers, and that making it like RS3 will not draw people in because RS3 already fills the demand for RS3-styled content perfectly. It's similar to the situation that WoW-like MMOs and CoD-like shooters are in

I support this skill. I would really like to see some non-combat added material, just to make some of the dead skills exciting to train for me. All people are interested in is combat additions sadly, so it probably wont pass this time either.

I vote no. Then again I don't play OSRS.

Wanna know why? It's not the OSRS I used to know. It's a testscape that you throw random things on and people like because it's new. Don't call is OSRS when it's not OSRS.

I have a question about clothing.

You have a required Artisan level to make the clothing to give boosts to certain skills but on the requirements it only shows one skill (runecrafting, cooking, etc.)
Does this mean that if someone has a high enough artisan level they can make it and the clothing would be tradeable and people with the required skill level to use them (say 75 runecrafting for all 3 peices of the rc outfit) can buy them and still wear them without the required artisan level to craft them?

Why are we even repolling this junk, literally can't tell the difference between this dev blog and the previous one. Can we repoll str option on new whip too? The reason that didn't pass last time was because of devaluing SS which is now a junk drop.

Unless the rewards/items created through this "skill" are valuable enough to alc, this will not be a money making skill. Eventually the market will be flooded with items that people won't need more of, similar to the whip, sara sword, d boots, or any other item that cost way more when the player base was larger/more active. Introducing more items will just void out other items, creating more dead content.

You need a better more active player base, possibly do some advertising and get the word out about the game. The game used to be good enough that people wanted to come play it, now with the current group of Mods in charge, its an embarrassment to a lot of people to even know what Runescape is.

As for this "skill", I still say no. Sure it has perks to help other skills, but it is more of a mini game than a skill, similar to ports in RS3.

I still say work on a trade solution ( it passed the poll ), and would be easier for people to want to play if it were easier to obtain the items they need without dealing with scammers through zyb.

Why not poll power to the players, because I'm pretty sure you all stopped listening, since this whole Artisan concept has been shot down multiple times.

I'll be voting NO, as I did before. I don't understand why you guys ignore the people that say they want dungeoneering back, you guys don't have to try to make this a different game than RS3. Impliment the good stuff that people want and throw out the stuff that ruined the previous game in the first place.
For example, you guys are planning on adding corp, corp was already introduced into RS3 yet you decided to also add it to OSRS due to a huge chunk of players desiring it. I believe the same should be done towards dung and many other stuff that a large portion of the playerbase desire. If the issue with dung is that the chaotics will cause an unbalance in PvP area then there's a simple solution to that, allow chaotics to only be used against NPCs.
I'd like to finish off by saying that I've realised that you guys really try to escape the reality of what people really want, instead of using this precious time writing developer blogs for a skill that hasn't passed TWICE, you can poll content that was previously added (and ofcourse a majority of players should have asked for it beforehand) which will save a lot of time and effort and will ultimately speed up the process of know what the majority of the playerbase really wants, new content or content from the previous game nerfed and tweaked a bit.
