Thanks for this, but I wonder what's happening about the accounts that have been wrongfully banned
The number of mistakenly banned accounts is very very small. Infact, over the past few days it's been hard not to notice the plague of threads in this forum claiming false bans. Upon investigating, it turned out that there were multiple individuals using the false bans as a means to get a previous ban for a much more serious offence overturned.
What's more, we also saw people who'd never been banned claiming they were. For what reason, we don't know. But those who were genuinely affected by mistaken bans will and have been dealt with.

My alt account was banned 3 weeks ago right before my eyes!
It was my first ban ever (except the funny ban where every online person got banned by town crier or whatever lols)
I am on my last day of ban, well it says less than one day, and I am so disgusted that after nearly 21 days of ban my appeal is still pending, while i wrote it the imediatle after the account disablement!
I am very disspointed in Jagex, for wrongly banning me, letting my appeal pend for 21 days..., I have lost my fishing highscores, nearly a whole month of membership, and gotten a progress on my total ban bar
SHAME ON YOU JAGEX
edit: and I's sorry for being so angry and straight forward, I do u know u guys are working hard, and making mistakes is humanly, but what do I do take at heart is that after 3 weeks, u haven't even looked into my case...

Tonight I logged on and no bots at the Chaos Druid tower! Unheard of!
The last time I was there a few nights ago, there were 3-4 bots living there. It is such a relief to see it cleared out, and very pleasant to have the druids to myself for a change.
Hurrah for anti-bot tactics, player reports, and BotWatch!
