Hello fellow players I am here to announce a very important addition to the BOT WATCH SYSTEM I have opened a thread for those of you who would like to join and help, any help would be greatly appreciated, we are recording places bots are MOST COMMONLY SEEN, I am seeking individuals who are active forum members and old school runescape players to post any BOTTING HOTSPOTS into the forum I have created.

Thank you for taking your time and reading this, and I look forward to seeing fellow players remove the bots.

@Warez Fair point, they've most only targeted the easily identifiable ones, but they're still making progress. :D

Just hang in there. Also, try going to bot busts sometime, to lead a J-mod straight to the cheaters! They will listen and follow you. :D

I know we can do this as a community.
A lovely little level 3.

I'm not sure how effective it has been. I've seen the same 4-5 characters botting in the same spot for the last week. They're in the Ardy marketplace, pickpocketing paladins now. They've been so successful they've reached level 70, all of them. They don't even run away from aggressive random events. This, to me, is absolutely blatant botting. I report them every day, but to no avail. (This is in World 378, by the way.)

So I suppose I'm just a bit skeptic about how serious they are taking bots, if the reports they've received against these characters have gone un-acted upon.

I was very glad to see the Hunt botters took a major hit. I'm grateful to see that you banned some players; I had lost faith in you guys enforcing the rules in the past 3 years. However, there is still much work to be done. I have noticed an increase in the amount of bots at the agility course. In fact, I saw somebody on the front page of the overall highscores botting at the wilderness course. I have reported these players and I am hoping action will be taken on them. I'm hoping to see more of an impact on skills besides Hunt (the only ones I've noticed).

I believe as a group, we the players of Runescape must report as many bots as possible. To slow and eventually stop the sales of gold through real world trading.

We need to focus the Lumbridge area to stop the bots before they spread out:
If we can maintain the bots at the early stages the gold farming company's will start finding it very hard to gather gold, raising the prices for real world trading, so the unfaithful players of Runescape that buy the RWT gold will start to stop buying, killing the company's profits and forcing them to stop.

Thus restoring Runescape.

I completely agree with katsumi's post. this was an awesome read an it made me very happy to hear all the progress you are making towards bots. I cant stand them, they swarm the resources and drop the prices. I appreciate everything!
