I like the ideas you have going finally!
Thanks for not being the usual Jagex and ruining the game without anyone's input. But there's always a "But..."
Toxic Blowpipe
:
I like your old proposal better than the new proposal for the Toxic Blowpipe.
Taking the accuracy away completely will reduce this to an unusable weapon. Compared to the tier requirement, that's not even sensible.
In reality, it hits like garbage against high level enemies already. So reducing the accuracy to that extent won't give it any viability against mid tier enemies.
You can chart and graph everything to the moon, but your in-game algorithms aren't perfect. For those of us who use this on a consistent basis, these are the observed results.
I mean have you seen how absurd your drop rates actually become? *I'm talking about pets if you haven't noticed*
New Crystal Bow:
As for the new crystal bow, I like the idea. But I surely do hope you're kidding about how we should obtain it.
You're going to lock the Toxic Blowpipe's direct replacement for high def lvl monsters under such a rare drop rate like the Blade of Saeldor? That's laughable to say the least.
It needs to have its own seed, own drop rate (compared to the tanz fang), and actual accessibility. Its not a 100M item, especially due to the cost of use.
Other Changes:
Still not jazzed about the reduction in Dragonhide armor without any buffs to Karil's armour. Rebalancing isn't solely about nerfing, expand your thoughts to encompass EVERYTHING you affect.
P.S. - Please stop teasing us with new content like its dropping next month for possible replacements/improvements. We're looking at years away from that. Look at how long it took you to rework a spellbook. Let alone having to introduce new monsters, drop tables, and areas. Introduce improvements at the SAME time as nerfs. Instead of acting like a bunch of rag-tag nerfers looking for the gnar out here. SHEEEEEEEESH
