The communication here is top-notch like we haven't seen in a long time. This is wonderful, and I look forward to the polls. The 75% cut-off is a clear majority -- good choice. My one concern is the total level of 100. That basically represents a level achievable in a new account's first day of playing, even in old school. I really think double that would have been better, at least. But that's a tough call, I understand.
As to other things mentioned on this thread:
1.) A couple people have again mentioned the run/rest/musician update. NO! Train agility. It actually makes a more noticeable difference in Old School. It is WORTH it. Please don't have Agility, and Energy pots, be nerfed to uselessness yet again. Stop asking for this. You wanted Old School; useful Agility is part and parcel of the package.
2.) Legacy of Seergaze. Lol, I loved this quest. It was the first big runecrafting update I had seen, and we FINALLY got allowed to make bloods. (And after all this time, where are Souls? Oh right, useless now under the regime of Runespan + EoC.) I have to say it is very tempting to ask for that quest experience back. But you have to realize it introduced a large new area (the Meiyerditch tunnels) which may involve a lot of reworking and may not be feasible. Further the slayer monsters down there (especially mutated bloodvelds) were really actually balanced for the godsword era, not the weapons we had available at this point in time. I'm sure they could be tweaked a bit to be workable. After all, I do remember killing them across a table with d hally lol. Just took a while. So, I'm staying on the fence. But it is an intriguing suggestion.
