It is deeper than that. Yes, the old combat mechanics are a big part of it, and yes, the Jagex approved RWT is a part of it too.

But other reasons include that we are sick of the baby-proofing (like gravestones and the wildy ditch, which we unfortunately still have), can't stand the ridiculous power creep on the weapons/armor, and most importantly, we are disgusted that the original spirit of Runescape has been destroyed.

At least that is how I feel.

I think all items up to 2007 should be reintroduced and keep tradeables tradeable, and untradeables, untradeable.

They should be rewarded through clue scrolls.

I will vote yes to the F2P items only pking servers! Make sure you label them right so we can find them. Might as well name all of the other worlds like that one thread says. 10+ year RS veteran; Oldschool RS player.

I like the idea of polls! May I suggest having more polls for the eoc version of the game as well? I miss the polls in general.

Firstly.. we haven't even got the old rare items/holiday drops like partyhats and masks! so why do you want to add 2007 easter? You should start at the beginning..i know its set in 2007 but its old school rs and that is one of the vital parts that make the game so great. Everyone wanted to save enough to buy a party hat. Even if the price was low on them at least we could experience having them. Just an idea

Secondly.. we dont need other updates like grimy herbs and f2p worlds(were already paying for the game so unless you want to make an actual f2p server with no charge of membership in the real game then thats cool

)

The game should be active for at least a YEAR before you can even think of updating or adding future things, which in my opinion is stupid anyway. We all came here for old school RS 2006-2007! You shouldn't change anything other than useful things such as 'Turn roof on/off' etc.. and even that is still partially ruining the game in a sense.

Terrible idea at the person that said remove &quot;Player Rushing&quot; and everything else on page 27.

Runescape wasn't meant to be perfect which is why it was so fun, if your looking for &quot;perfectness&quot; for skilling or whatever go to EOC.

For whatever reason you have to go in the wild for questing, that's what makes it tough and fun. That's like putting a handicap on for questers, people did it back in 2007, what makes it harder now?

there is no skill in player rushing. it is mean, and cowardly, and bullying to gang up in a huge mob to take down a single player and rob them. People that do this are nasty horrible people.

You say player rushing is good because it make wild questing and TTing hard?
Well I say player rushing is bad because it makes player killing too easy.
Besides, there are plenty of ways to make quests and TTs hard without having to subject the questors and TTers to flash mob slaughter.

What happens if the yes vote is 74%? Will you simply round that one up too?

In that case, I hope they would extend the vote for another week or longer until a for or against is clearly chosen... Maybe a 75% or more to approve a change, and 50% or more to deny a change?
