I'd like to see at least 85% of the votes being in favour of an update. If not, it won't come out.

Flower Game is a problem... but can we do anything? I don't think because flower are part of the game since so long... Unlikely like dices.

What i say is let the first month run then make changes.
People who voted as their firs* membership for free, but those people might not be real oldschool players. So, after the first month, people who will be the membership for the oldschool Runescape will be real old school player and they will be the right people to vote for what they want or not.

I agree, i was scammed back in 2006 for a pair of ranger boots, i had no real idea how much they were worth because i was such a noob, they were probably around 700k at the time and i was selling 600k, someone put up a bunch of junk with probably 500k and then at the last second changed it to 5004 and i accepted without knowing.

That's the one and only time i can ever remember being scammed, and ill be damned if i ever get scammed again.

Thank you, good to see these kinds of things.

For polling, the number one issue IMO is the possibility that these polls could be unfairly (and inaccurately) influenced by players who pay for membership but have no intentions of playing OSS.

The process that the community went through to get OSS resulted in an awful lot of people who enjoyed the EoC feeling extremely put off, and to be honest I wouldn't doubt that some people might vote on updates in a certain way purely to try and be spiteful. I'd hate to see a hotly contested issue be decided in such a way.

So anyways, how to solve this. I don't know. I haven't really thought about it. Maybe restrict it so that players can only vote in the polls if they have over X hours logged on OSS? I'm sure there are some more creative solutions out there, I haven't slept in 2 days so I'm dumb right now.

"- Firstly, how would you like the community polls to work? For instance, what degree of consensus should be required?"

An option to vote inside of the game would be great, as not everyone reads the forums or website often.

ONLY, people that have voted for 07 scape, should be allowed to vote in polls currently, to make it fair, as people that may not care about 07 scape could skew the polls on purpose! Trials & Free To Play should NEVER, be allowed to vote in the polls. Maybe people with a level 40+ skill or 200 total level+ can only vote

There should be at least 75%(3/4) of votes to make any changes to Oldschool Runescape.

"- Secondly, what content changes would you like to see shortlisted for the first polls?"

-Revert skeleton & Varrock guard models to their old pre 07 versions.
-Move the party room back to Camelot to the same exact spot it had been before it was moved.
-Remove the spawning logs from the top of Lumbridge Castle.
-Add in a better quest log.(I feel like the newer version of Runescape has a better version of this.)
-Add in a better skill interface. (I feel like the newer version of Runescape has a better version of this.)
-Add in achievements.
-Expand friends list and ignore list, so we can add as many people to them as we'd like, its only 100 right now, and unfortunately needs to be much larger.
-Add a way to sit on benches/chairs.
-Move the run button to the minimap.
-Add back in the missing 07 feature of having a message tell you when people on your friends list have logged in or out.
-Add new quests.
-Fix pathfinding.
-Auto Rejoin Clan Chat, when switching worlds or relogging.
-Remove the wilderness ditch.
-Adventurer's log on the website to see progress in 07 Scape.
-Add rares again, the same way they were added and tradeable in the 07 game.
-More forums for 07 Scape.
-More bank space.
-Bank Tabs & Sorting.
-More hairstyles.
-Option to use Oldschool Runescape Chatheads on forums.
-An in game zoomable world map.
-More pets, but no summoning

- Firstly, how would you like the community polls to work? For instance, what degree of consensus should be required?

I would suggest a Thread where players have to go to with a link to vote.
The purpose of this thread is to provide in depth description of what the poll is and what the selections really means and how it might affect the game. Because of this, players should read it before blind voting. This also allow players to have discussion, suggestions, and pro's and con's.
The poll should not be open immediately, it should have a pending of 1day. This would limit the quick reaction, and blind voting, for people who just vote just to vote.

Also, have a "not voting for any" option. This way we are not forced to vote for something but have a say in what we want. Also, ability to change our vote. Points of view changes and sometimes I regret voting for something when I have a change of heart.

Lastly, I would say that people who have voted for 07' servers should have a higher weight of a vote. This way, people who haven't voted or created accounts later can not dramastically affect the game. This provides 07 voters a real say in the content.

- Secondly, what content changes would you like to see shortlisted for the first polls?
Nothing that affects the game dramatically such as G.E., Resting, Musicians.
The first poll should

No voting or polls untill after the free period is up. Then i believe it should be a log-in vote, a pop up on screen.A simple yes / no vote with a winning majority of at least 85%.
As for updates. id rather not have any polls concerning the content of the game for at least 6 months. Imo , any updates till then should be bug fixes, and perhaps what ppl on here are calling "convenience" updates. A few extra buttons etc.

quote.

"With the poll having well exceeded 250,000 votes, we're going to have (at least) a small development team continuing to work on Old School RuneScape. We'll be setting up polls to let the community decide what changes happen inside Old School RuneScape. To prepare for this, we've got two topics we'd love your feedback on:
Firstly, how would you like the community polls to work? For instance, what degree of consensus should be required?
Secondly, what content changes would you like to see shortlisted for the first polls?"

To first question, I would like it to be a strong majority 70% of people voting one way or another for an update to pass. If it is a poll with more than 2 choices (EG new slayer monster) then keep us voting until one has the majority. If they are closely tied, the one that had more % vote throughout most of the polls would be chosen.
I also do not wish to have :
F2P voting if under 750 total level on OSRS - provided there is F2P on OSRS, otherwise they have no say at all.
Trial-members voting if under 750 total level on OSRS - provided that Trial-members have access to OSRS, otherwise they have no say at all.
sub-250 total level on OSRS (minimum req for forum priviledges) voting.

To the second question, I would like the shop respawn rates to be doubled.
