Firstly, change the current poll on the home page. Split it into two. Side-by-side or one on-top, iunno.
I believe however, you must be required to play two hours worth of oldschool RS to be able to vote on that poll because EOC players WILL try to troll.
I believe 75-80% should be the percentage to change anything.

Secondly,
#1 - Quest dialog.
My god.
I didn't know it was this bad, but then again I was like 12 at the time.

#2 - An option to remove roofs.
I don't know what other players prefer, but I hate having to look through the door to walk into a building.

#3 - Visible HP
I personally don't enjoy having to guesstimate my health

#4 - Graphics
I don't consider it a high priority; I WILL play irregardless if it's changed or not, but for me, 2007 was not the best year, it was 2008 because we had a very clean interface and decent graphics. It was literally perfection.

Hey :)

Just gonna thank you for all your work guys with old school runescape! Im glad we will get small dev crew, and we be answering polls and we help you to decide the runescape life.

Also i believe that at this point we need client and we should get barbarian outpost.Everyone is trying to get money and barb assault would help to get better armour. ( as you know rune plate is rare as partyhats nowadays) fighter torso would be a great changer. Contruction skill is no needed atm because everyone is concentrated in money gathering skills not spending ones. Small bugs doesn't change anything like herbs. I think you should leave how it is with the herbs. Its good to know haha :D

Regards

FK

In response to the first question, I think a simple yes/no vote would be best, with an option not to vote if it really doesn't matter to you. An "I don't care/mind" option doesn't really help anyone.

I think there needs to be a large majority in order for a potential update to become a reality, with 75% being a good figure for that IMO. If we're close to the 75% mark, say in the 70-80% range, then there should be an automatic revote in the community. This could perhaps be where you force the "I don't know" candidates to vote also. If the figure doesn't reach 75% at that point then the update should be held from the game.

There is absolutely no need to think about introducing content updates at this stage either. Everyone has more than enough content to work through before there is a need for any more. JaGex should focus on bug fixes, anti-bot systems and other small updates to help the players, like a rework of the old bank system for example.

For the poll, 75%+ would probably be best, its impossible to please everyone, but the people are playing the oldschool servers because they like them the way they are, old, gritty, harder yet simplistic, and every little change will just make people more and more angry.

I sincerely hope that Jagex does not handhold.

It is what ruined the game in the first place.

Herbs should be unid as they were in 2007.

There should be no trading warnings.

People will get scammed?

Yes. It is necessary.
I remember way back in 2005 on another account, I lost a set of black armor to an armor trimmer.
From that point on, I learned something. Call it street sense if you will.
It is not a sense of paranoia, it is simply a healthy sense of awareness.
It's only after being scammed once that you're able to recognize someone is trying to take advantage of you. To be able to prevent future scams by yourself.

This is why I pause to check the secondary trade window. I ignore the annoying red flashes and often they prove to be more of a nuisance when trying to verify a fair trade. This is why I ask for a collateral if someone wants to 'borrow' something.

It's an experience. Handholding instills a false sense of security and in the end doesn't prevent those disposed to being scammed, getting scammed.
