Personally, for me a few things;

- The ore to be turned back to how it was. In varrock it's the 'new'-ish ore, whereas in Dwarven mines it's the true oldschool ore.
- The Guards in Varrock to be how the ones in Falador are.
- Tab for private message replies!

But please, don't re-instate the G.E since when we voted for Oldschool servers, we did not vote for the G.E. If people can't deal without the G.E then jump back to the new servers. As well as Godwars, I personally don't think you should re-instate that either since I don't like the idea of OP gear such as Bandos/Armadyl. Oldschool should be proper oldschool!

But in general, good job JaGeX! You made me want to log back in and re-subscribe for the first time in over 2 years ~ Keep it up!

I totally agree with you Eggy 600, I'd love to have the old pre 07 models of ore, guards and also skeletons!

I think to vote for OSRS you need to be in-game and go to this place maybe, or it be a pop-up like other people are saying. So that the votes are not tainted with haters that can bring in more votes than there are actual community in the OSRS.


- Secondly, what content changes would you like to see shortlisted for the first polls?

I'm against most convenience things, like bank tabs, Grand Exchange, etc.. If there was going to be one convenience change that had to happen, I would say using tab to talk in private would be my only choice. As it is purely convenience, doesn't hurt the game, and saves the hassle from picking a name out of a lot of them to talk.

There is nothing basically else that needed to be updated at the moment, the OSRS are awesome for the way it is now and it does not need to be tainted with updates that ruin skills people work on. I can say after playing OSRS for a few days and the EOC, OSRS makes me feel more accomplished and proud for what I have done so far, as in the EOC basically everything is handed for you at the start, no sense of pride to finish something. •--- Old Nairb

It should be a 75% to pass the vote AT LEAST.

Also there should be guidelines for what can even be brought to the table to be voted upon. EoC and 07 need to stay different. What does that mean? We should NEVER be voting for summoning/ge/gwd/nex/qbd/kk etcccc. Otherwise why wouldn't they just remove EoC from the EoC server to begin with rather than rebuilding the same game again? Hopefully that makes sense. 07 needs to stay 07 and EoC needs to stay EoC. If they decide to start adding these things to 07 they should just close 07 and kick EoC to the curb and go back to the update before EoC.

What should we be voting for? Graphical tweaks, hot keys, UI adjustments, possibly how to implement rares, balance adjustments if needed. Things like that otherwise we are just going to ruin 07 for the second time.

First of all thanks to Mod Pips and Mod Phillips for keeping us updated and secondly i think that the poll for OSRS should be in game so that the people who actually play OSRS are voting for what they want not what the RS players are deciding. The herb problem doesn't bug me really ore and guards would be nice to have fixed and for Guthix's sake don't bring the grand exchange back! it will make OSRS *lump like regular RS has.

Again thanks to the Mods who are making this the best thing I've played in over 3 years

- 'Guaranteed Polls' should make their way to the homepage again, available to any members that have played over 'XX' hours in the Old School servers. This would allow true players to have their say.

2) What content changes would you like to see shortlisted for the first polls?
- I'd like to see all the changes that were released after August 2007 shortlisted in the upcoming polls. Perhaps you could work your way down the timeline of updates?

A lot of people seem interested in showing these polls in-game, but I feel that a potential issue is overlooked. I'm afraid that if these polls are indeed shown in-game, people who just want to play will simply vote whichever option they can reach first without caring about the outcome. This may have bad consequences if the vote is not wanted by the majority of the people who DO read the poll.

Instead, people should be genuinely interested in the poll and its outcome before they can vote. They could be notified in-game to raise awareness among players, but it would probably be best if you can only vote on the website.

For me I would say change grimy herbs into unidentified ones as I never was around when all herbs were like that before being updated to being grimy.

The G.E. never was around till after Free Trade and the Wilderness got taken away near the end of 2007 and it made it alot easier to get what you needed for say a quest or better equipment, but many don't want it and I'll jump the band wagon with them.

The old look of how the ore rocks were when I first started playing in 06 even though these are 07 servers would make a nice welcome as well.

I can't think of anything else, but maybe I will in do time. :P
