Well I can't go check poll results (getting the 404 error for several days now, so the OS page that links to poll page isn't available for me) so I'm wondering if someone can tell me if this passed the 75% requirement (or just the preliminary poll to get it polled)?

Or if there's going to be a poll on it (or is jagex just planning to implement it because it was the most popular of the choices given)?

The agile needs to have a def requirements.

Left as is would mean pures ( who do not need to wear defensive armour) would have no negative effects, whilst being able to run for longer.

Where ass a main who isnt going to wear armour with a low defensive stat, is left hard done by.

one of the biggest reason for this was the game was becoming meleescape with all the major updates going to melee. the game needs more balance. melee has gotten several major updates with pvp worlds, gwd and nmz, not to mention the clan cup and other updates. don't be greedy and expect them to spend all their time catering to you.




Hold on just a second. Meleescape? The God Wars Dungeon isn't solely a melee only zone. Kree'ara can't be killed with Melee, btw. Just to let you know. I also recall the Armadyl Crossbow and Staff of the Dead being added to the drop table. Armadyl Armour also came back out with GWD.

Also, how is Nighmare Zone a melee update? It doesn't have any solely melee rewards. It does offer rewards that improve Berserker and Warrior rings, but also Seers' and Archer rings. Another reward makes the Black Mask useful for players who choose to use Magic or Ranged to train Slayer. Yet another reward affects the Crystal Bow, making it much better. I see a bit of balance here. There could be and should be more, yes, but they're making acceptable steps.

I don't see how there's any catering going on here, unless it's COMBAT catering. NOT melee catering.

dude...let the skillers have a chance. the world doesn't revolve are you.

if jagex would only do combat updates, well that would be very unfair and unbalanced, and in my opinion, would result in EOC for 07 runescape.

I never said anything against skillers...lol... We do need more skilling stuff.

I simply replied to someone who complained that this was Meleescape.


Also, I know the world doesn't revolve around me, but it doesn't revolve around you either.

A very nice looking update!! I for one will definitely vote yes for this.



I also think there should be a HUGE benefit for getting 90+ agility to run energy recharging! To hear that there is only a 10% improvement from 70-99 agility is depressing! (But from 1-10 there is a gigantic increase).

Across the board there should be SIGNIFICANT advantages to getting high levels in stats.

This, this is awesome. Planning on going for 99 agility next anyways so can't wait to see these updates come into affect! Great to see the OSRS dev team having an open mind and implementing these updates.

I really hope the xp isn't any quicker, maybe slightly at 80+90 courses as these would be higher than any of the existing ones. I don't know if anybody else agrees but the high xp rates in the current game is one of the main reasons it ruined it for me.
