It looks like the rooftop courses will provide better exp than the current courses, but there's more risk involved with rooftop, cause you have to finish an entire course to get any EXP. Rooftop agility will be riskier yet have a chance at being faster and the existing courses will be more consistent and less reliant on luck. I really hope that rooftop agility won't have a very consistent EXP rate so we have the fun of deciding for ourselves if we want consistent exp or a chance at better exp.
Also I think it would be sweet if there were optional areas you could get to only by using rooftop agility, such as a secret entrance to the Pheonix or Black Arm gang headquarters. What if there were hidden unlockable obstacles the game doesn't tell you about that you can trigger by doing quests etc.? E.g. after you finish a quest for a dude in varrock, he decides to open his window and you can try to jump in it. These secrets wouldn't be beneficial EXP-wise, they would just be something cool.
I really hope rooftop agil will have a somewhat secret feel, as if your character has just discovered his own way of getting around; it would be a little lame if there was an agility instructor at the start of each course. The course obstacles shouldn't be extremely obvious, and should look natural.
