w000t agility update passed :D

It is currently passing in the poll (that started today) but it hasn't ''passed'' yet.

I still think Lletya is an ideal location for an agility course. If I could propose something, I'd put Lletya at 90, ardy at 80, Relleka at 70, and scrap Pollniveach due to its inconvenient design (running from the end of the course to the start is quite a run!) and the proximity to pryamid agility to its location.

I think a lot of the locations are alright, but there are some seldom used areas that I thought would be kind of cool as well. I do like how Relleka is incorporated, but other seldom used areas (Entrana, West ardy, Witchaven, Burgh de Rott, Rimmington) could see a nice spike in activity.

I'm unsure if that ship has already sailed but even if it has, does anyone else care to share their opinions on this?

I am worried that osrs will turn into something which is not osrs.

It seems to me that so many people did not join this game because they wanted to enjoy the old days again. It does not seem like they actually seek what the game was designed for. I believe people went to OSRS rather because they were sick and tired of the New RuneScape, but they still wanted the easier training methods.

New training methods constantly come out in RS3, and the game becomes gradually easier. We have already seen it in osrs, where I've heard you can get 150k+ combat xp an hours in a safe way, yet it was supposed to be balanced. I would appreciate if you actually told us what you really mean because I prefer it when words have a meaning .

It can be quite a big step going from a game where most of the skills have an insanely high experience rate and go to OSRS. It is no wonder people find it easy to get impatient and want things served on a silver plate when they're used to RS3, but please remember what Old School really was designed for.

Please remember OSRS is called Old School for a reason! Many veterans think difficulty of the game is one thing that makes Old School Old School. I think it would be a great shame to give up such a fundamental part of the game.

Let Old School stay Old School!

Best post of the entire forums today.

Sadly, I think it's already too late.

Even if it is a slight increase. About 5k-10k more experience per hour isn't that bad.

That's a matter of perspective. I don't happen to agree.

Then that is up to you. You can say that anything is a matter of perspective.

This is a brilliant update. Initiative new content like this is what we need more of on Old School.

Even though we only have 3 mods (clearly an injustice) the mods Mod Ash and Mod Reach are phenomenal. I know they are doing the best with the extremely limited resources and staff they have. But we need a bigger team.

40% of the p2p playerbase being oldschool is only getting 0.1% staff on it.
60% of the p2p playerbase is rs3 and is getting 99.9% staff on it.

Both cost the same price. Clearly this is a giant rip-off, based on the evidence listed above. (Even if you emotionally "feel" like you are not being ripped off, you are, by the above listed facts)

Please don't release agility gloves and boots as we already have boots of lightness and penance gloves and these items would be devalued

They intentionally made them WORSE than the current items we have as to not devalue these armour pieces.
