Make blessed chaps 1 def! (and vambs too honestly)

With the proposed update most accounts will still have access to the original dhide armor stats albeit at a much greater cost while 1-39 def accounts will be stuck with reduced stats.

If it was done intentionally for balance reasons I would understand (though disagree) but as it stands it seems this is purely collateral damage as there is 0 mention of this in any of the blog posts.

Another option would be to make (t) and (g) versions retain the same stats, both are tied to clue scrolls the same as blessed d hide and have no defence requirments. Personally I have yet to see a reason why +1 prayer bonus necessitates a 40 def requirment.

As an ironman, your royaly screwing me here. Dragon darts are so rare to find that getting 99 slayer got me only 1500..... dragon bolts are harder to get but atleast they arent rare from vorkath. the loss of dps means extra scales and a waste of my time. you are intentionally making a gap for no other reason than so you can introduce more conent down the line.

The fact you didn't like that a 4m weapon (which has an extremely high upkeep cost) was keeping up with tbows dps is a joke. if this truly was about power creep you would have nerfed alot more than just the blowpipe.

you did this to us with eoc and are now introducing unpolled updates again. your killing us and everything that we have worked for on our accounts.

Ok I am from the pure community here and my pure crew clan chat talks a lot about blessed dhide for pures would be nice without the defence requierement on chaps/vambrace and since now black d'hide is nerfed it's a big nerf on pures too! and also it's fashionscape!

Bp has spec /acb has spec and Dragon hunter crossbow stills with no spec, it should reduce the defense of the monster (dragon type ofc) , with that nerf somethingh needs to be change in the high tier crossbows like Dhcb.

Literally the whole community is saying don't nerf the blowpipe... If you do this then you're spitting in the face of everyone who put you where your at now. If its too powerful, make it a higher level to use, don't ruin it. Don't forget about us please.

Also cheap equipment being good is a viable part of the game so noobs can have decent equipment and not get unmotivated.

All around this "rebalancing" is a game ruining idea. Please, please don't do it.

I'm not happy about this!!

As an Ironman the blowpipe is the single best range weapon to acquire higher tiered items. Vorkath, Chamber, Hydra. These bosses overlap with other item achievements and requirements for necessary speed and efficiency. I absolutely will not be doing vorkath with a rune crossbow, neither will I grind for the dragon limbs. ACB does not make a big difference. There is no item in between blowpipe and twisted bow. Now that the gap is larger, these higher tiered items will take MORE HOURS and MORE SUPPLIES because of the lower accuracy. You better buff the drop rates for addy ore, bars, rune ore, bars because the blowpipe already eats scales and darts, now its going to be so much worse. More time at zulrah, more time smithing, more time bossing.

There is no replacement, but yet you insist on nerfing the blowpipe this week. Why didn't you WAIT to nerf blowpipe until you release new content with a new weapon in between blowpipe and twisted bow.

I'm very angry and I could say some not very nice things, but I wont. Have a flipping nice day!!!!!

Still waiting for the POLLS.

There are so many people complaining about this update and such little is being done.

Dinh’s nerf still too high. Dragon fire shield will have more magic defence and Dinh’s will only be about 25 % stronger in the melee defence stats. Make Dinh’s a one handed shield, so that it can at least remain the highest melee defence shield, become a useful raid drop, and actually have a purpose in the game. Keep the special attack it has as well. Justiciar Chestguard is going to become stronger that a TWO handed shield? Bring back the power of Dinh.

Also give the bonecrusher / dragonbone necklace the same stats as a glory with strength bonus, so that it might finally have some value in the game. The requirements to get the necklace are harder than the requirements to make a glory necklace.

We Talk here about the Health of the game. But if a lot of players now leave the game for nerfs and strange buffs whose all for the ass and Not for the health.
Its also now a unfair gameplay for Inferno for exemple. Prayer nerf and bp nerf. So nerf also inferno by 10-25%

In the future don't try to explain how the balancing makes sense with charts and graphs.

EoC was done in part because of "balancing concerns" around the combat triangle and ended up being even more unbalanced than what it was before. Anybody who says mage is underpowered on OSRS doesn't understand that mage's purpose is to kill stacks of enemies quickly and help with non combat skills.

That being said I'm generally ok with what's being done here even though I question if what you are doing with wildy is going to work.
