Hi. I like the update but i dont like how i always see "report" on people Would be nice to have something like on Today RuneScape where you can change the report on other players.
In regards to the title of the thread "Game Integrity", I will post something I posted in another thread, that I feel needs to be addressed in OSRS.
Minor conveniences like word wrapping, tab switching etc and technical features like anti bot features as mentioned in the first post are fine as they make the game more secure and usable. In addition to that, community friendly updates like anti-gambling rules are all good. They could be from any era of Runescape, all they do is serve the purpose of improving the game integrity. That's all fine.
What's NOT fine is the confusion of the game's limits in terms of content updates and its integrity as a "retro version of Runescape".
Jagex needs to put boundaries around RS2007 and define the limits so that it does not overlap with EoCScape and become a replacement for it instead. Of course they need to have updates if they plan on keeping the game fresh but they need boundaries which set both games apart. If its an argument of mere "no modern graphics" "no EoC" then I feel it is not enough because of the choice of game title. It's not called RS2007, its not called Pre-EoC RS, its not called CommunityDrivenScape, Jagex named it Old School. If its not meant to be some kind of marketing stunt to name it so, then Old School should REFLECT Old School, it should not have elements from the modern game.
Therefore I feel that Jagex needs to draw a line to prevent misguided and confused players trying to add for example, areoplanes or ponies or the upcoming skill from the main game into RS2007 because they said they'll add anything that's in popular demand.
