The raise from 75 to 80/85 attack completely destroys whole account builds. Many people use accounts that have 75 attack for both pvm AND pvp and with this they would have to choose, destroying an account that thousands of hours have been put into. Many account restrictions are due to attack, defense, and prayer. Just give these "high tier" weapons a strength requirement alongside of their attack requirement. (higher level reqs that include strength, ranged or magic will get little to no negative feedback)
Next, the d'hide nerf is completely unwarranted other than magic defense. It even states that people were complaining about magic defense yet you decided to half it's melee defensive bonuses as well. This seems to be very anti pures. While both require 40 defense a black d'hide body is a little half of a rune platebody as is, so the nerf to melee bonuses seems outlandish.
"We can summarise our stance as: we think that items which are more widely available to players are more problematic if they dominate the meta." Items worth 1.1b, 700M, 150M & 100m (along with long elf quest line) requirements aren't widely available as many players don't have the requirements or money to buy these items.
The rise in Magic level and ranged level requirements is warranted and a great idea. The blowpipe nerf also seems like it could do good as the higher end darts (rune and dragon) still have the same ranged strength and only suffer a -4 and -3 accuracy bonus respectively, this still gives them the same strength but a little less IF something is added in between blowpipe and the Twisted Bow.
Overall I am extremely disappointed in the proposed changes. Do not destroy entire account builds by raising levels that many players have limitations on and have grown to use items that now will be unavailable on their accounts.
