The raise from 75 to 80/85 attack completely destroys whole account builds. Many people use accounts that have 75 attack for both pvm AND pvp and with this they would have to choose, destroying an account that thousands of hours have been put into. Many account restrictions are due to attack, defense, and prayer. Just give these "high tier" weapons a strength requirement alongside of their attack requirement. (higher level reqs that include strength, ranged or magic will get little to no negative feedback)

Next, the d'hide nerf is completely unwarranted other than magic defense. It even states that people were complaining about magic defense yet you decided to half it's melee defensive bonuses as well. This seems to be very anti pures. While both require 40 defense a black d'hide body is a little half of a rune platebody as is, so the nerf to melee bonuses seems outlandish.

"We can summarise our stance as: we think that items which are more widely available to players are more problematic if they dominate the meta." Items worth 1.1b, 700M, 150M & 100m (along with long elf quest line) requirements aren't widely available as many players don't have the requirements or money to buy these items.

The rise in Magic level and ranged level requirements is warranted and a great idea. The blowpipe nerf also seems like it could do good as the higher end darts (rune and dragon) still have the same ranged strength and only suffer a -4 and -3 accuracy bonus respectively, this still gives them the same strength but a little less IF something is added in between blowpipe and the Twisted Bow.

Overall I am extremely disappointed in the proposed changes. Do not destroy entire account builds by raising levels that many players have limitations on and have grown to use items that now will be unavailable on their accounts.

Increasing the level requirements on all of the listed items is fine

Decreasing the strength bonus on the faceguard makes serp helm better at a significantly lower cost, Id recommend increasing the defence level to the faceguard (70?)

Twisted bow is fine, its still BIS ranged weapon with no comparison

D'hide nerf is fine, its very overpowered for the cost and reducing the melee defence ability you somewhat balance the combat triangle. I would keep blessed d'hide at the current stats because of the rarity and price

Dinh's nerf might be a little too extreme since its a one of a kind weapon/shield

Blowpipe nerf youre really killing it. The blowpipe definitely is overpowered for the cost, however after the nerf a rune crossbow with cheap bolts will be much better. Id recommend reducing the ranged bonus to 40, and the ranged strength to 25, and also make a way to imbue the blowpipe (possibly soul wars?) to increase the ranged bonus to 50 and the ranged strength to 30. The changes to darts are fine

Buffs to necklaces are fine but probably wont see a lot of use still

Crystal bow/armour is a good change, I think it will get a lot more use after this

Warhammer changes are fine, will be interesting if all str pures will come out with warhammers

Maces/spears/hastae are fine

The changes to metal armour are fine, especially since dhide is getting a nerf

It doesnt make sense to change everything... stirrring up the game... rather instead do something about the economy. Delete a few worlds... i mean you’ve got 216 worlds member and non member... by deleting a few worlds it means worlds would get more crowded, people in the game would have to compete eachuter to defeat a boss.. what means prices of reward items will rise. Because its harder to obtain. clans starting to exist aggain. Newcomers wont be lonely between allot of bots running past them and not helping them. By changing the game “aggain” you will ruin it.

Stop wiyh these stupid updates and crazyness alot of items literly became junk other items that had a use became priceless 500% increase and downcrease on items a shity necklace for 40k to 500k haha or a jaw that was 24m and now 12m for -1str leave the game as it i would not mind level changes to the table but leave the stats alone i feel if you really wanna make a change start with the bosses and mobs adjust they stats do somethibg new with them i would have trowen alot items on 80 and leave the 80 to 99 gap for a new set gear future plans

Make the changes and see how things pan out and can do minor balancing adjustments from there. I think this is a great start to restore and preserve OSRS content. Power creep is a real issue. Also I think the variety changes for maces, warhammers spears hastas ect should go further tbh. Seriously only Scimitar is viable 1-60 strength I love that this is finally being addressed. Let's make sure the we give some love to the stab department as well, swords and longswords. Keep in mind this is suppose to offer variety to the scimitar but not overthrow!

Hi Ke Ma here,

I have gone through your proposition and it does look promising but it is a big change. I hope this will be for the best.

The only negative I have is for people who like their skills to be clean.
In this case you are proposing items with requirements of 72, 78 ... which in my mind is driving me nuts. Can we just keep 70, 75, 80 , 85, 90.....

My suggestion would be ok nerf BP (because it is to op and to cheap for low lvl) but make with combat achievements like a high tier reward (untradable scroll) that would make bp (imbue) or smth like that and would make bp as op as now but it would be only for high lvl players and not all would have it.

Bp nerf would impact allot of speed running content and some of great speed runs would be stuck for life.

Bp is my go to since I can't go back to monkey madness on my 1 defense pure..can you at least make an option to where we don't have to receive the training from daengo to be able to go back to ape atoll so I can at least do chinchompas?
