I have both an RS3 and an OSRS, and I've never had a problem.

I suspect it is the same client, they just altered the configuration at their end so people didn't need to delve into the innards of the client to get it working.

"Unable to load parameter file". I uninstalled both the rs3 client and previous client (which didn't work anymore anyway for some reason) and I reinstalled the oldschool one a few times but it won't work. Is there something I could do to fix this?

Where is the client hosted, that I can only download it at 40KBps? Is anyone else having network speed issues within the past 3 days?

I am trying to download this client as some way to try and speed up the game... Am able to get download speeds of upwards 400KBps on any download I've tried elsewhere.

Ping requests to any oldschool server 100ms+ delay whilst all other hosts reply with minimal delay ~45ms...

ping request to runescape.*** time out 50% the time

I downloaded the client, but for some reason it keeps giving me the message "unable to load advertisement" and closes. There any fixes?

Nvm it loaded up. Strange.
