No support for adding rewards for getting kills. Players will just find ways to abuse it for only making cash instead of actually pking.


Kinda like nightmare zone was never intended for guthan afking for 6 hours. Would have never passed if players knew you could guthan afk for 6 hours for a free 300k xp. Same will happen if pkers are rewarded for getting kills. Someone will find a way to trick the system.

I agree with what most of the players are already saying, Their needs to be an extra reward for killing a Target. Power to the players remember? I suggest a poll. That is completely bounty hunter sided. Or a thread to suggest possible rewards; Xp lamps, Cosmetics, The old brawling gloves, Small cash sums depending on risk. Or even a completely new item that allows some kind of bonus, a key that allows the wielder to open gwd room 5 times? Elite clues from the target? Possibilities are endless.

Also, Tokens for rewards, a hat to show off your kills, Cosmetic gear to show off your kills, Special recovery potions? A potion that allows stat boosts to last longer? Or what about the new area Dan's making? Somehow link a reward shop to it or something..

Imo you really should think about opening a suggestion thread that would have players point out a reason why a reward system should be in place, as well as a reason why it shouldn't and then make a poll from there.

- The only problem with this would be people "Selling" their deaths to targets, Maybe some kind of system in-place to block this kind of activity?

I support the idea of bounty hunter, with or without a target system, so I'm going to vote yes on this. I would definitely not like this on all worlds though. That would makes some activities extremely tedious (runecrafting through the abyss, hunting black chinchompas).

I also don't think that there needs to be an extra reward from killing other players unless it does no harm to the economy (as in dump large amounts of gold into it), doesn't devalue other people's hard work and skills (trading points for supplies) or anything that greatly increases the max amount of experience you can gain in any skill.
