1. Would you like rare items return in some form? yes
2. If you vote for rare items to return, would you like the currently tradable rare items to remain tradable? yes

Which of these ways would you like rare items to be distributed? Each of these questions have a yes or no answer.

5. Have an NPC shop you can buy rare items from for a large amount of GP (leave them untradeable)
7. Give one of each rare item to every old school player (make them tradeable every player who created an account before august 2007 receives this.)

I definitely think rares should be incorporated back into oldschool.

However, I feel as though most of you who propose a clue reward or rare monster drop are unintentionally alienating large percentages of the community. If it were a rare clue reward players who can't necessarily do the clues because they are pures or don't meet the requirements via quests and such to access each location would be unable to attain them. The same concept goes for players who are just skillers and won't be fighting monsters.

My point is that if you bring back rares as clue rewards or monster drops, the higher leveled players are at a significant advantage when it comes to gaining these rares.

The point of rares isn't to make the rich get richer and the poor get poorer, but the exact opposite. And if you were to bring back rares in this fashion, that's exactly what would happen. That is why i'm in favor of bringing them back as rewards for holiday events like they were originally brought into the game as.

I wish for every player that has an EOC account with decent stats , 'maybe requirements has to be '1' 99 skill on EOC account' , and give that person a choice of 1 rare out of a list? Just the start of an idea. Please bring rares back tho. :)

It's really too bad you won't be able to see the 'how' of implementation.. nor the tradeable or nontradeable before you have to vote on bringing them back or not.

You support rares, but not excluding any group from a chance to receive them.. but voting yes first, means you will have to live with ANY form of implementation that jagex decides on (because with so many options for implementation, none of them are likely to get 75% support).

The polls are being described as:

1. You must say you want them or not... regardless of the answer to the next 2 poll questions about them, and;

2. Tradeable or nontradeable will only be voted on at the same time, so if you have a preference here... too bad, and;

3. Implementation, with so many choices, will be up to jagex and not player vote (because 75% is unlikely to be achieved with so many options), and if you've already voted yes to bringing them back.. you have to live with HOW they are brought back.

Change this jagex... don't force NO votes because you've set it up backwards. You CAN fix this!

1. Would you like rare items return in some form?
No

No rares. We already have rares in the game such as Third Age Armor, and dragon armor like Dragon full-helm.
3. How would you like rare items return?
I do not want them to return in any form or way. Party hats, halloween masks and other holiday items never intended to be rares. Just as Jagex said before, it was a mistake. Why make the economy rule over old holiday cosmetic items? Seems bizarre, let's the economy rule over high end weapons and armors.
