Glad to hear that you guys are reworking customer support. I thought I was the only one who had problems recovering lost or stolen accounts. I mean, this is a really bad indication of your lack of professionalism, for lack of a better word.
I sometimes fantasize about how I'd react if a client for the business/corporation I worked for messaged me on twitter or reddit about their sensitive account information. I guess its good there isn't one of those lame "customer service surveys" they seem to have at every business, be it a storefront or online here in the States. You guys got like the BBB or something over there because I could imagine your scores can't be acceptable from JAGEX's point of view.
As far as "fixing old content" I think it'd be nice for the community to have a bit more clarification on "content" and "old".

Anyways, sorry if this comes off super negative, I just feel bad for the little guy trying to post memes but because he/she chose a certain line of work they are bombarded by kids with bare minimum social and grammar skills.
