Not sure if this was intentional or not, but even with the doors perm opened in the Farming Guild the pathing is still inconsistent, and often when you click into one of the "gated" areas be it normally or on the minimap I wont move to it unless I'm a few spaces from the gate.

Still very happy the gates are permanently open though thank you for that much needed fix!

Sorry to go on a brief tangent, but this being yet another update with 'typo fixes' irks me a little when (and sorry to whichever mod wrote it, nothing personal) most quest/book/lore dialogue in the game is clumsily written – yet in an easily fixable way. The main issue is most punctuation being replaced with commas.

E.g.
"This trial was different though, the subject did not reject the spores..."
(should be colon or period)
"Our work has outgrown this small facility, it is time to move on."
(should be period or en-dash)
"...this lingering power could still be of use, we just need to find a way to harness it."
(should be period or en-dash)

These are just from 2 Old Notes, so you can imagine there's hundreds of occurrences all over, including content from early OSRS.

I'm fully aware 90% of players will claim they couldn't care less because they're afraid of coming off as nitpickers (and will lambast me as one for bringing this up). Still, given your care in fixing individual typos, it seems weird that a big, overarching problem like this still goes unaddressed. Given the consistency of this same mistake, I'm guessing you've had the same mod write most of this dialogue for years. If that person just took 30 minutes to polish this one aspect of their writing, it'd make a big difference.

the farming guild is still a bit bugged. when you want to walk from your tree patch to your fruit tree patch you have to click to different spots to walk past the door because you won't walk directly there when clicking the fruittree dispite doors being open.

Edit: Solo Fallus also reported this above me.

Hi there, I've just read the update post and am a little disgruntled about the golden tench nerf. This is a minor, if not insignificant issue for most players but the tench was an outstanding weapon for Obby Maul pures to use pking. It was far from overpowered, anyone ranging has significantly higher dps so I am not sure why the nerf was needed.

The tench, for anyone unaware, was effectively a one handed weapon similar to the RPG. This means it had 0 stats and attacked quickly. It was like using no weapon but with a faster attack style. Why was this nerf required? It did not give an unfair advantage and instead gave pkers like me an incentive to leave BH/ PVP worlds.

I spent 8 hours working on getting my tench and this nerf has completely removed the benefit I was working for. Please could someone say why this was needed? All it enabled me to do was have the same weapon stats as the rpg but with +8 accuracy from my zammy book. Was this being abused in some way? The weapon still had significantly lower dps than rangers or meleers with higher than 1 attack who are my level.

Thanks for anyone who can shed light on the situation. I just want my hench tench back to full strength.

So the fish had the whack option which could (harmlessly) do an attacking animation in non pvp locations. This did not cause any damage. The nerf is that they have given it negative stats rather than the all 0s it had before.

My point is that the fish gave an interesting variety of weapons for people to use in pvp and an incentive for pkers to do some skilling as it is non-tradable. It did not have a dps which was higher than the vast majority of weapons people use. This update has rendered its use in pvp null and void.

There is alot of us here in the Obby Community that feel you guys have slapped us in the face, we finally get something we can grind for & you take it away & you constantly give ridiculous items to other pvp builds to pk with why take away a fish that did 0 harm to the community. We are literally asking for a +0 Attack fish back...some of us spend 10+ hours trying to get it.

Not that it affects me, but it sounds like Jagex should either have nerfed the Tench from the start, or just rolled with it even if it saw a surge of unintended use. I imagine getting slapped by a giant fish would hurt more than being smothered by flowers or whacked with a rubber duck.

Unintended consequences don't necessarily equal an issue that needs fixing.
