This is specifically for the elf quest. I think bringing an end to a story line is a great idea.

The crystal armour should get reworked if it will be released. It looks ugly to be quite frank.

I also agree that the osrs team needs to be careful with the release of prif. If prif was very op in rs3, osrs needs to make sure that same thing does not happen again.

The gauntlet sounds like a good idea and i'd like to see it.

SKILLING BOSS
. Please oh please make it so that the boss will be accessible by skillers such as my self. You could have a separate teleport area so that who ever doesn't beat the quest can still access the skilling boss. Like my main account is a lvl 3 hcim skiller. Bringing a skilling boss into the game with great unique rewards is a straight slap in the face. It's like oh hey skillers, you like this boss? You like these rewards? Well too bad. Ain't getting any! So please as a avid dedicated skiller, please make it accessible to lvl 3 skillers.

Absolutely agree. If it is a skilling boss it should be acceasable by skillers as well. I mean combat 3 skillers. I am fine with some reqs for it but also reqs which skillers can reach.

The gauntlet sounds like Dungeoneering, but I think we need more info.

Can´t wait for Kebos Lowlands and more quests in general.

I am fan of a new skill in general. For a new skill I am ok with Warding but I would like to have rather Artisan or Sailing a bit reworked and repolled.

It´s a pity that there is no plan for big Minigame rework :( :( :(

Crystal armor sounds interesting but what is the cost/hr for using each piece or the whole set? How does it compare to barrow's melee defenses and Bando's ranged defense bonus?

This would also be a good opportunity to revisit the currently existing crystal weaponry and its charge system.

Currently, crystal weaponry can hold up to 2500 charges that lowers equipment bonuses after every 250 charge is lost. The stat loss can be offset by imbues from Nightmare Zone, which is more of a band-aid fix.

Suggestion:
After completing the quest, expert Elven crafters become available to better tune your crystal weapons. The other version of Runescape have Attuned crystal items that are essentially higher tier versions of crystal. Attuned versions could become available in OSRS with slightly better equip bonuses and improved charge mechanics.

-70 agility requirement up from crystal's 50
-5k charges (10k if you combine 2 fully charged similar to Abyssal tentacle)
-Does not reduce stats every 1/10 of total charge.
-Requires you to recharge 5 crystal weapons to show your interest in Elven craftsmanship.
-Crystal seed sink.

Bow:
+15 ranged strength. Consumes 2 charges in pvp.

Shield:
+10 stab/slash/crush, +5 ranged defense.

Suggestion:
It would be nice to have crystal tools introduced. Specifically crystal harpoon, axe, and pickaxe. You would need to sacrifice the dragon variant of the tool and a crystal seed in order to upgrade it to crystal. Upgrading should be permanent and untradable, which acts as a minor item sink for those items. Tools will have 10k charges (1 charge per resource collected). Tools will function like the dragon variants when it runs out of charges. Recharging requires you to sacrifice another dragon tool + crystal seed or pay up with gold, maybe 100k?

Crystal tool perks:
-Improved special attack boost from +3 to +4/5.
-Reduced chance of depleting resource nodes.
-Faster resource collecting (similar to upgrading from rune to dragon).

So much disappointment =\

Just injecting old and recycled content and polishing it up into the game like the elf city which from what i see is absolutely overpowered and killed a lot of content in rs3 (Don't play it, wouldn't know - just what i've read on here and around on such things such as twitch) and it would be a travesty to see this slippery slope hit OSRS even more. There's tons of easy methods in skilling as it is so there's that.

Skilling boss would be interesting if it works out well and actually makes sense. Let's hope I guess.

In order for this city to be worth introducing, it needs to be different and unique.

Re-imagine the concept: The city is a war-torn hellhole, ripped apart by centuries of civil war. Rival factions of elves have battled each other to a bitter stalemate, and with humans showing up now it's just anarchy.

There are great opportunities to skill, but significant risks involved. Training a skill will indirectly benefit other players training other skills nearby, so doing things socially will be good. Risks will scale with total xp being gained in an area.

First, the risks:
3 kinds of enemy elves, whose frequency and abilities scale with amount of xp being gained in the area.
- Soldiers (aggressive to players, gangs of them wander around)
- Saboteurs (blow up skilling infrastructure used by players if not killed fast enough, requiring it to be repaired)
- Thieves (gang up on a player, if player falls below 1/4 HP they are robbed of their items, which they can then purchase back... for a price). Doing so will embolden enemy elves for a short while, so it's in everybody's best interest to help keep the targeted player safe.

Use construction, crafting, and smithing skills to repair infrastructure, and be rewarded with faster, more efficient, and less click-intensive places to skill - until some elf saboteur blows it up, or the whole place comes under attack by a gang of elves.

Train combat by killing groups of attacking elves, keeping the skillers safer - players can collect a bounty for each kill based on the amount of XP rates being earned by skillers in the area. Of course more XP means more (and higher level) elf combatants)

Use hunter to set devious traps to buy you time to escape, or hold enemy elves still for easy pickpocketing.

Use mining to clear rubble from paths or cut holes in walls, creating agility shortcuts or escapes from rooms that only have 1 door.

Much of the civilian population has fled... use thieving to disarm and plunder trap-rigged homes.
