Also please consider adding a special attack to the armadyl crossbow, otherwise its just another karils crossbow but with slower attack speed.
I'd be up for that. Does anyone have anything in particular in mind for it?


With you being so much on the forums, i can't believe you haven't seen this one a million times!

Perfect special attack is a guaranteed letting the bolt special attack, for example 60% spec bar to have a guaranteed diamond bolt special attack

This has been requested numerous times, as currently letting the enchanted bolts do their special attack is completely random.

would be too overpowered with d bolts (e)

I edited this in on the post, with dragon bolts it should take 100% special attack, that way its not too crazy, certainly not compared to ags, atleast

Yes i did the whole Blog.

About the k'ril/Zamorak do i think it is not enough since the boss pretty much are overpowered with its 43-49 Hits(through prayer)+Poison.

About the Lootshare do i want the money bag shared between players you are grouping with.

EDIT: Edited to you might understand what i mean.

It's impossible to split cash if that's what you mean

Looking at all the various ideas, I think it might be best if we kept the Armadyl crossbow unchanged for now, since it'd still be a better launcher for your enchanted bolts than the existing rune crossbow. If it passes, we'll be able to offer updates to it in future. And if it doesn't pass, we'll be able to offer alternate versions of it in future.

Also about BGS, will its special attack will be just like in 2007 august? Lowering every combat stat? or would it only work for defence?
The special attack of the BGS will be like in August 2007, when it could work on all combat stats.

Anyone think it shouldn't be like this?

As it has been said previously in this thread, I would strongly suggest for you to reconsider the decision regarding the change of Aviansies' adamant bar drop from noted to unnoted. If such a change were to go unhindered, we may as well stand back and give Aviansies a warm welcome to their new home - Dead Content Land.

Aviansies were, from the offset of GWD, a simple, campable Range training spot, wherein you could farm a modest income from the stackable nature of the drops. If you change the adamant bars to being unnoted, the rest of their drops, in no way, compensate you for the time spent killing them. They'll simply become the standard monster you have to kill to get to Armadyl - nothing more.

If you actually do plan on implementing this change, without exception, I would actually prefer you simply delete the drop from the drop table entirely. This is not a serious suggestion, but here is the reasoning behind that preference. Since unnoted adamant bars are utterly worthless in such a location, I would at least have more of a chance to get one of the other worthless drops that I could actually bank (2 law runes, for example. Oh boy!).

I think I have a decent idea for the amulet

Increases the set effects of Barrows items by 10%

If you have Full DH and hit 70 on low hp

You'll hit 77 when wearing the amulet

If you hit 30 with Guthan's when it heals

It'll heal you 33 hitpoints


Also, please consider changing other set effects of Barrows items

Wearing full Ahrim's would randomly give you an ability to hit twice (like DDS)

Wearing full Karil's would randomly give you an ability to hit twice (like DDS)

Wearing full Torag's would randomly give you an ability to hit twice (like DDS)

are you able to re-make/add lootshare?
because personally i really love to play GWD in masses of peoples back in days when it was hard... :P
As others have posted, the answer's No.

1. We don't have a GE to track item values properly, so we can't split the loot accurately.

2. The game engine didn't get support for tying code to chat-channels until after August 2007, so we can't base lootshare (or Clan Wars!) off your chat-channel.

That's why we're just offering a loot broadcast system that tells everyone in the room what got dropped and to whom. We can do that.

Didn't it work on lowering all defence first, then strength, for example if im level 30 def, 50 strength, somebody does 50 damage, id be level 0 def, 20 strength? thats the way i remember it

In that case, its just fine, but please, no random stat.

Perhaps we could add tradeable scrolls of rigour and augury to zammy or sara boss as well? Kinda wierd that only melee has a level 70 prayer

also THIS has had quite a few discussions, with mixed feelings about it, but i think it would be worth polling, just add a 70 def requirement like piety does though
