Just add an NPC to the game who will sell you 2 weeks of membership for like 1.5m, then you can buy members with in game gold which is the whole premise of bonds in the first place.

People can already buy gold, I would rather that money and gold be swapped amongst legitimate players.

I support bonds in OSRS.



Edit: Let's not forget people are already doing this, just through gold swapping clans.

And how would that bring money to jagex?

You realise that for you to be able to buy a bond for gp, someone has to buy it for real money first.

You do realise that those that currently RWT will simply continue to do so as its cheaper. The only people buying bonds for gp will be a new crowd that currently wont risk their accounts RWTing.
Jagex should just focus on catching the RWTers instead of allowing it.

HECK NO!, Okay Im sorry this kinda of a terrible thing in my opinion. This content in general is nice for players who have played a while and can buy the membership from playing longer BUT this I do not believe should be done due to the fact of players being able to profit off of selling the bonds to other players.

Only way I will be thinking about voting yes is if they can be traded but the other player obtaining the bond cannot trade you anything for it they have to give you nothing. But even with this i would be border lining *Dances*

I'm so disgusted you guys would even consider this. This is one of the main reasons I don't play RS3. Runescape was always a game with milestones whether that be skilling or saving up for an expensive item. By introducing bonds to old school you are completely ruining what it originally stood for, at least to me as a player. Being able to buy your way to any items and skills you want is not right, especially in such a game such a runescape where the economy and skills play such an integral part of the game.
If this gets introduced I will quit, and this time I wont come back.

Why am I seeing so many posts supporting this? Its absolutely upsetting. Is it really that hard to come up with $8 to pay for membership? If you're struggling with just that you really need to re-evaluate your priorities in life. Seriously.

...and if you're supporting this to buy your way to anything you want then good for you, but that's not "old-school" in the most remote way. Sure, gold sellers exist just as they always have, but bonds have not. Bonds have ruined the drive for me as a player, to continue. While I do have money and could buy anything I wanted with bonds, why even bother? When every other player can do the same within minutes of giving their payment info. Unless you're purposely trying to kill old-school, then stop introducing things you know that will kill the game.
