bounty hunter worlds were lame with being able to kill your target for additional generated loot that didnt even exist no more generating loot that didnt exist i dont see a point of bounty hunter worlds cus generating loot from ur targets that doesnt exist is lame and getting paid for killing targets is lame too since this could easily be setup so with that said i dont see a point of bounty hunter worlds it could give people more of a objective to targeting to get use to it in pking but that factor could just be added to pvp worlds/ wilderness worlds or any world to ask an npc to give u a target instead of having to wait a really long time for a target or ask them to talk to you via enchanted ring or something to give you automatic targets to help you get used to targeting people in pking and this could be the thing giving people more of an incentive to target people as well as the same npc/npcs could train you in fighting. bounty hunter craters a definite yes because of the skulls representing value and they look cool too, the targeting systems and rankings were cool too but would like there to be faster targeting via enchanted ring or something from the bounty hunter person or talk to you in the cave or show on the screen like it use to but faster targeting, i didnt like that if u were fighting someone and if u were someomes target they could just come up and attack you 2v1 but that could just be another risk in bounty hunter also liked that people would lose most of everything they had to add more risk to it. i would like to see a free for all crater where any combat level could go into it im not sure if protect item worked in bounty hunter but definitely let protect item work in bounty hunter but have crater for free for all all levels and one free for all where prot item didnt work and also i dont think bounty hunter would affect pking to bad since u lose so much stuff in bounty hunter

we already have wildy/pvpworlds protect three items if u die not skulled but bounty hunter craters are different u should lose everything except 1 item if its protected by the prayer make one crater free for all where all lvls can go to and make on crater free for all where all levels can go to where protect item doesnt work and add the three normal craters as well

make faster targeting but make sure targets are always the same for two people make sure if one person has someone for a target then the other person always has the same target to stop that thing where people 2v1 thats good for bounty hunter keep that 2v1 thing in it but make sure two people will always have the same target which is each other always

wilderness is where its at maybe put bounty hunter craters somewhere else to save room for future updates to wilderness although that could be a safe area and as soon as you walk out of safe area you could be in normal wilderness for normal pking fairly close to something important in wildy like one of the bosses or something which could actually help rejuvenate wilderness even further by offering quick acces to a bank through bounty hunter but risk of more pkers and also normal bounty hunter could be nearby and since u lose most items in bounty hunter it shouldnt affect normal pking to much just a different form to help get more people into pking

Overall I did not like the Bounty Hunter craters for the simple reasons of multicombat zones, congestion near the entrances, and the 3 minutes of waiting when you did strike big.

On the flip side, I was a huge fan of the Bounty hunter worlds. As many people have mentioned in this thread, the artifacts were an additional plus when killing your target.
If bringing some kind of community/ individual way of pking a specific target, I would say Bounty worlds had the best of everything...
-It utilized the wilderness
-Generated fair(as far as combat level) targets
-But overall, it helped separate those who enjoyed 1v1 pking vs those who enjoyed team killing (pjing, and looters).

I personally am a 1v1 pker because I believe in order to be a good pker, you need to beat me (as every edgeville pker believes). By implementing bounty worlds and perhaps reinvesting time into the artifact drops (or the random generating of rare drops), I think it will create an appetite for those who do not usually pk, as well as keep the current wilderness full and plentiful. Us players can think of it as an additional way to get the loot we want with an equal amount of risk and security.

Aditionally, regardless of our/your choice of which style to reintroduce, I think it is a good idea to include a chat window specific to our targets for quick meet up brawls without wasting time chasing people around.

I personally liked craters more. Both had their merits, however here is why craters would work better in the game:

1. Bounty hunter worlds would require an incentive to fight your target, this can be exploited by groups of friends to farm any new items, extra loots given as rewards. Also in the worlds you have to chase them all over the wildi and clans would just camp multi for solo pkers.

2. The craters are a new kind of pking, a different concept with high risk and fun. There were a few flaws in the last craters e.g. lots of people having the same target and all attacking/pjing when the other was low health (plus you didn;t know if they had you as a target)

3. The penalties were a big risk. I pked an AGS in the crater when they were 110m... the 3 min penalty made it the most intense moment of my RS life. Taking the risk to bank and come find loot again was great fun too.

4. The money skulls, these showed people's risks. This was a great way to know what spec weps people had etc as well as telling whether it was worth fighting someone.

I have loads more reasons as to why craters are better but cba writing as likely no JMOD will read. But I suggest a vote on it or trial the two at least!

I'm no PvPer, but I'm not against PKers doing what they do. PKKing on its own means nothing since most people playing Old RuneScape are smart enough to be prepared in Wildy. Getting paid to hunt down targets would be fine, whether through Bounty Hunting or Assassination (PvP rules still apply), but it would be best player-run/made.

Now, I hate the craters. Let it be throughout any and all PvP-enabled areas. Don't restrict it. That's just ridiculous. Make it an open process and it'll be fine.

Create PvP-free zones in Wildy, with bank chests etc. The target is granted by accepting a "contract" by turning a wanted poster (found on walls in many cities) into the Bounty Hunter's Guild, found in a new town built around the Oasis, Ronnhist. Ronnhist will have building so close to one another that the alleys will be dark, mimicking a large shadow. However, symbols of Zaros can be clearly seen on the walls of some alleys. Ronnhist will achieve periodic raids by the Dark Warriors (because why not). Players escaping into the town with little life can be killed by this. Ha. Ha ha. :D
