Okay, I respect your credentials as a businessman.
The data shows that these events seem to be getting us more customers, within a budget that our managers are happy to spend on the activity.
We intend to keep doing them.
Call it celebrity endorsement, if you will, but that is indeed marketing, even if it's not what you've been doing in your 30 years as a businessman.
Don't worry, I'd never think of you as a "fanboi", and I have no intention of patronising someone who's assured me they're "a businessman ok for last 30yrs"
As for wanting a real update, we just did. See the rest of the newspost.

MASTRSHAFTER I think you're overthinking it these streams are just necessary for Jagex to reach new players or a new playergroup. Jagex will make sure the average player will get content to enjoy aswell. These tournaments are also partnered with ESL I think we will only see more of them in the future which is positive as more players are attracted these tournaments will one day be more availebeal for everyone and we might see weekly tournaments like LOL etc. I think its too soon to judge about it . For now it doesn't affect your direct gameplay aswell so you should not make a major problem of it. Generally Its advertising like any business do and as you said your a businessman you know its necessary but it doesn't mean we can't have fun watching the streams go on. About Fossil island I think it will be great content they even recently announced extra content for it which means to me they pretty much finished with the developping around it
