Whats with all these streamers and fanbois getting favoritism and another 10k of our money going to these parasites
Its getting too much now im not gonna pay my hard earned money to subsidize these jobless parasites who sit streaming all day and get preferential treatment and chance of thousands of dollars each week
Have you forgotten about us normal players and whats worse is they picking there friends lol so we have no chance of anything.
Its beginning to look corrupt tbh and seriously a top manager has got to start looking into this.
OSRS is becoming a game for streamers and fanbois and clans and they milking it till we finally realise and then when we all gone and no normal players left jagex will only have themselves to blame.
TBH who actually gives a shit about wildy wars 0.01% of osrs what about the other 99.9% of osrs HAVE YOU FORGOTTEN ABOUT US.

It's hard to say for sure what promoted a new player to join, but membership really does seem to go up after these big streaming events, so we do intend to keep doing them. It's marketing - just a bit more interesting than sticking adverts on the side of buses, and probably more effective too. (And I personally like this approach considerably more than I liked the notion around 2009 of paying for RS posters to be put in schools to market directly to the children.) It's certainly true that a lot of these events cater to what one might call "celebrity" players, though that's kinda what pulls viewers. We've run different kinds of event to cater to a more inclusive group of players, of course, and the Deadman seasons are very open indeed. Thank you for your time and response its good to hear that the memberships are going up and more players are entering the game as this will only make the old school team more capable and shows that OSRS is doing good. We need this streamers and indeed its a way more enjoyable way of advertising than regular adverts. And it engages the whole community at the same time. I think you guys are doing a great job keep it up.
Cool to know about posters and adverts in schools and on buses I didn't know Jagex made such adverts. I only noticed myself the adverts on the internet based on google searches. Plus great job on the login screen love it!
