No. Just no. Seriously stop with these alternative methods. WC is fine how it is and these xp rates do not make any sense. Tick manipulation is exactly what it says. Manipulation. It should not be used as a legitimate xp rate. These things, if made, should be no faster than teaks as you should normally chop them. Of course it doesn't matter you'll shove this idea through a flawed polling system and mindless players will upvote it. If they don't, you'll just wait a few months and rebrand it and shove it through again. The death of OSRS is imminent

Would prefer cooking level for mushroom pie/pizza to be more around 70/75. Although are people really crying out for a +4 Crafting boost?

My main issue is with bittercap mushrooms being the main drop. I can't quite gauge how this will work in terms of how many people will get from it, but if the game is suddenly flooded with them it will be BAD. My concerns are this:
- The fact that xp rates are high suggests it would be easy to get a few, unless it means each one is worth loads of xp?
- There are very few uses, so unless something consumes them they will be very cheap.
- One use is for supercompost, if they are super cheap then supercompost could crash, making regular compost redundant, so that people either use super or the new ultra/uber/hyper/whatever it is. However considering watermelons are 20gp already this might not be an issue.
- Another use is Fairy Ring in POH. If they get to the price of say 10gp each, then Fairy Rings can be built for about 500gp each, meaning one could spend 13mil to get 99 Construction [hypothetically]. I get people hate how expensive Construction is but it is not good to mess with something like that.

I suppose filling in some gaps in woodcutting is fine. Mind you, woodcutting is sort of designed currently as an afking skill with tick manipulation if you want it for teaks, so idk if people will go for this method cause of the alternatives. I like the mushroom pie though for the +4 boost in crafting because I definitely think there is a gap there in that skill being boosted.

Cute update.

I'd like to see more mushroom content, too. Maybe add a mushroom pizza with its own effects. Right now there's not much point to bittercaps and it's essentially being treated as a junk drop by proposed wcing content.

I'd rather see more mushroom uses and content while lowering the droprate of the woodcutting ones, giving less mushrooms overall. As proposed, this update will just flood the market with garbage bittercaps.

don't have too much of an opinion on the proposed update really. i guess it's ok.

just came in to say i found this part of the post pretty uncomfortable to read -

"providing a faster training method than that Willows offers, but less speedy than what teaks can offer with tick manipulation methods."

i get that this is going off topic and is a completely different argument but i just think it's complete and utter nonsense that you are actually acknowledging and accepting this as a training method and therefore basing skill exp rates off of it with regards to future updates.
