I really don't agree on the fact that you're going to make the granite dust and cannonballs untradeable , to bold it out the way u guys like to do.

Mainly because cannonballs are also massively used by low lvl pures to train their ranged up quick and this would also benefit them. Since there is always a demand for cannonballs, not everybody wants to get 75 slayer on their pure to be able to hit 5 more, but when you make new content, why should it be so limited to just a certain amount of players?

Also, I'm pretty sure the granite ring is going to be dead content, since most people will use a Berserker ring, ring of suffering or ring of wealth to increase their drop rates. Also the stats on the ring are pretty low..

I might not be a pvm'er, but still, I feel like I myself, and with me alot of others, got excited for the cannonball update, and then see it being taken away just 2 days later..

By the way, the rest of the updates I do like :) Also the suggestion in here about making the Granite hammer function as a Rock hammer sounds like music to my ears.

Hi. I've been 50 attack for several years now. The only spec at 50 attack I've ever had is g maul, so I'm pleased to hear of the new 1 handed G. Warhammer. My only problem is the 65% spec. I'd like it to be 25%.

If I can go further and add a 30% damage increase instead of the (5+ hit increase) That'd be amazing.

It'll raise the max hits in f2p. I don't like this in f2p, since the f2p pk community can only eat so much with swordfish or anchovie pizzas.

I really like these updates-

I think the granite dust is interesting it will make slayer exp gains a bit faster depending on how you like to train.

Bandos boots update is awesome, really great stuff. With Dinh's and the tanky updates this will make pvm and bossing trips a lot smoother for lower level players and make it easier for people to volunteer to tank in groups/clan pvm events ^.^

This has to be worst dev blog in a long time.

1. Granite cannonballs - cannoning is already ridiculously powerful aspect in slayer. Definitely can't happen.

2. Guardian boots - if boots like this will get added in game, it could mean that we might see sth as ridiculous as ganodermics back in the game (and no i don't mean it as a t85 - most of todays t"75"-s" are way too powerful compared to t70s or even t60s. Most people owning t75-s have usually at least t90 stats.) Stats that I would suggest changing to are: +28 stab, +29 slash, +30 crush, str bonus back to +2. Perhaps only then those could be balanced.

3. Granite ring - most people in f2p have empty ring slot, because no rings give any good stats. we dont need rings until the good rings get obtainable ( and also they dont have a req-s)

4. Granite gloves - Seems like rfd gloves have ruined the "standard" in glove stats. Remember how "good" Fist of Guthix gloves seemed in f2p? And not knowing anything about rfd gloves back in the day made them seem very good. If these ever pass, these gloves should be more "tanky" (and less offensive) like Rune gauntlets from fist of guthix used to be.

5.Granite (missing prefix WAR-) hammer - This one is most OP yet. Special attack is very powerful (like advanced d long). This weapon shouldn't ever have speed of 4 (or 6/9 like it used to be back in the days, and no I don't mean gameticks). Warhammers are actually most accurate 1-hand weapons in the game, but because of their 4(out of 9 or attack rate of 6) attack speed and strength bonus close to a longsword, they never seemed useful. If this weapon ever passes, it should have speed of 5, and perhaps +61 strength bonus, so it would fit with unreleased granite longsword (which won't have a spec! ).

Agree 100% with Woodfire45.

Recently started to worry about too powerful items getting into the game, I think developers should be very careful when adding new items, Granite hammer being one of them and boots to some extent.

That cannon buff... Im amazed developers even thought it needed a buff, completely unnecessary.
Good items should have higher requirements, and vice versa. Those boots at 75 slayer doesen't make any sence. Bump the slayer requirement to 85+ or remove the boots completely and give the new gargoyle something that resembles 75 slayer difficulty, not best in slot.

I like the idea of adding something to give bandos boots a new meaning. But those boots shouldn't get into the game at 75 slayer.
