I don't see the point in the brittle key if it's a one-time thing. It's just an arbitrary rng check that will only annoy people and not do anything meaningful to limiting the amount of the boss killed.

Boots should be stronger and no negative magic defense. Also I'm not sure about cannonball buff. How much dust it would drop? If its like 1-10 dust/kill it might be ok. But where would you use those new balls?

I love it, but I really think that the Gargoyles boss should be locked behind the Morytania Hard Diary. This would keep the price of the drop high, encourage skilling, and make any pets gained from the task more exclusive. I also believe that there should be some further advantage to completing the Morytania Elite Diary here, for example the pet can only be gained once you have the diary.

While I understand wanting to make a mid level slayer boss, I think that the potential profit and general rewards need to be balanced against the requirements.

I love the idea. I like the idea of the boots, however for lore's sake, maybe the shards being attached to bandos boots is strange? what if the shards provided a bonus to the granite maul that would have charges, making it more applicable to higher level players? or granite boots with the same stats as the proposed upgraded bandos boots? My name is a mountain.

I think the boots are too strong.
Lose the prayer bonus, and lower the melee defense to 30 I'd say.

I don't personally care about the cannonballs since I don't like using the cannon anyways.
Everything's an integrity issue if you troll enough.

No. There isn't really a reason to spend development time on this. It is slayerscape for the sake of slayerscape. Personally, I find slayer incredibly boring, and I do not desire the addition of slayer bosses. Nor do I desire a future in which having a high slayer level is necessary to become a "high level pvmer," which sounds like Jagex is moving towards with updates like this.

Instead of something like this, why can't we add a boss aligned with Zaros in some way, perhaps a human (or other race, like demon/vampire/mahjarrat) mage, who is best killed with magic combat? If the boss is a mage, the boss would be immune to ranged attacks (through the protect from range prayer). This would allow magic become more viable for high level pvm. It would also be an opportunity to add more Zaros lore/story into this game. Killing it could potentially be a reward from a new, osrs-exclusive quest.
