In 1 March 2013 or so don't quote me on date

Quote: "Starting in a few weeks, we’ll have regular polls for the Old School community to decide which changes they do or don’t want made, short listed from your discussions on the Old School Feedback forum."
I'm struggling to understand how these tweaks not came under the requirement to be polled. Its not a bug which has to be fixed, its not a new content which just came out and has to be tweaked, this content been here for a while now and one day Jagex decided to change it. Oh sorry it was mentioned that:
Quote: "The community has always strongly leaned towards the idea of fixing existing problems" who did represented the community's opinion in this matter? I haven't elected anyone to represent my opinion and I never had a chance to express my opinion in poling it either. Are we having some kind a elite who can talk on behalf of a whole community?
In regards to certain items loosing their value Jagex should do more to fight bots, cuz bots are reason no.1 in crushing game's economy. And if there are some OP drops from mobs they should be looked in to when released not after almost two years if that's the case they should be poled like any other change.
IRL I'm happy to live in a society were majority is given a chance to decides its further path. Sometimes it doesn't go in a way I wanted, but that's how "Democracy" works. To have this in online community is something astonishing. And us all as a community, we should all be proud of.
Are you serious?
