Thank you for the many fun years to let me and others play Runescape. We have been through hard times and good times with the updates. I play this game since 2005 and i'v never posted a thread nor replied to a thread, untill now. nerfing the void set was a big mistake thank you for let me quit the game....

If the Jagex team has considered all possible effects of their unpolled changes, then they should discuss them with AS MUCH of the community as possible BEFORE making it a permanent change.
This is what ruined RS3 for many people. Permanent/Long-term updates that were not discussed thoroughly with the community, or updates driven by petty, short sighted business/ulterior motives.
was op in pvp. You risked nearly nothing while doing massive damage. They nerfed it now there is room for different armor, different styles of pking. If you love to pk you should apploud this now there can be room for a different approach in pvp.
Are you joking? Risked nearly nothing? Void is 180k to repair, that's as much as a rune pure/zerker risks. Pures on the other hand can easily go 1 iteming with an AGS and hit more than I can in void with a light ballista.
"Room for different armor", you mean, that because melee gets access to;
- Fire cape
- Metal Gloves
- Fighter torso
- Defenders
- Climbing/Rune/Dragon Boots
- Berserker Ring
- Amulets
- Helmets
- Bandos armor
Basically items for every single slot that increases their max damage way beyond 20% and yet still is untradable, cheap or easy to access.
All of those items are pretty much best in slot and cheap, that's why 'zerker' accounts thrive. Void is the ONLY range damage boosting gear besides an amulet that is the highest tier available and costs 15m+. A pure can use mithril gloves and a strength amulet and provide theirselves with +16 strength bonus, which is 4 additional damage AT ANY LEVEL, and that extra damage costs them about 5k.
