@Fbomb I don't think there should be any new monster within this update that dwarfs Skeletal Wyverns. I assume, and I hope, that is not anywhere near the intention.

I myself find Undead Dinoasaurs considerably more Killer than ya normal massive mammals.

I can't understand why the most vocal section of the player-base seem to constantly plead for upgrades. It's like they need a constant hit; did you not see what became of RS3? Now even Dragon items are noob-tier.

the wyvern item should be attached to a dfs

it should not be attached to some low lvl mass produced item such as a elemental shield

the poll would get alot more yes votes if it would actually item sink and item that has value

without adding the item to dfs then the dfs will crash. hard.

1. I was pretty happy to see that there will be a quest. Excited about that bit.

2. The group Mining activity also seems fun and like a good addition to the skill. I'm in favor of good experience rates as a reward for something that requires a lot of effort.

3. As far as the low level Hunter goes, I don't see the need for low level content in most areas of the game for a couple of reasons. First, many skills, including hunter, already have plenty of options to train at a low level. Second, because players spend SOOO MUCH more time at higher levels than at lower ones, I think it makes sense to continue adding variety at high levels to keep things engaging. I guess there's nothing wrong in my eyes with the bird house stuff, I just don't find it very necessary.

4. I agree with a lot of people that the new wyverns should be 80+ Slayer. When they were first talked about I thought they would be and it was exciting. This is partly due to the reasons listed in (3), but also it doesn't make much sense to me that they would drop better boots than Nechs if they require less. I think they should also be tougher to kill than skeletals.

5. I think the shield is imbalanced. Doesn't it seem a little overpowered? Especially if the Slayer requirement stays at 66.

6. The underwater stuff looks cool. I think multi-skilling is definitely something that could be explored in many future updates.

Thanks for the blog. Exciting stuff. You guys rock.

To sum up the ideas:

Fossil island should be part of Zeah. I believe most people would agree with me here from what I've read so far in the comments.

How about you listen to what the community is telling you, and simply raise the level of Ancient Wyverns higher than that of Skeletal Wyverns, so that the slayer level required to kill them would fall around level 82.

My suggestions:

How about the introduction of granite items be dropped, and have no slayer level requirement to kill them. The biggest problem is the slayer level is too low for them to drop granite boots, so just eliminate it entirely. The people who want to try and get the visage can go for it. Also the Dragonfire shield makes sense, that it will make killing dragons easier, who the (pardon my language) f*** is going to be maging wyverns?

Obviously a large percentage of the community is having problems grasping parts of the new content, so listen to what the community is saying. Please.

First, I don't think Fossil Island should be part of Zeah. Fossil Island has been an update I've been waiting for since 2007. Literally.

I can understand why you want Ancient Wyverns to be at level 82, which I wouldn't mind. However, Ancient Wyverns are also locked behind Kudos and the Bone Voyage Quest. You already have to do a number of quests just to finish Kudos, and now another quest to get there in the first place (which could end up being difficult). In addition, it could be a 1/10k drop for the shield and 1/1k drop for the boots. And they may make it difficult to enter the caverns.

I mage skeletal wyverns. Fire wave works nicely against them.

I'm happy they're introducing content locked behind quests that I can unlock and explore, but rewarding content is also refreshing. I don't mind them adjusting the stats of the shield so it is less accurate and more defensive, but I would still like it along with the boots.

All looks nice and exciting, but 66 Slayer is WAY TOO LOW a requirement.

It is already embarrassing how Wyverns at 72 Slayer make you so much money per hour. The new Wyverns shout be AT LEAST 80.

Well said, I agree 100%.

"Rather than being on a set course, you can go wherever you want "

"Thieving goes hand-in-hand with Agility whilst underwater. Rather than repeatedly thieving from the same NPC or stall as you might above the surface, you'll be running around and looting treasure chests as quickly as possible."

I could go on quoting, but I would just end up copy pasting the entire dev blog. Absolutely love it! Let's hope the fossil island, with all its planned content pass the poll :)

Darn, I'm way to hyped about this already!
Never lucky
