ok so free to play is needed to entice new members and help the economy. some of the best money i made was selling f2p items to pkers like food, str pots and armours.

how ever jagex you cant realy expect for you to bring out free to play and expect it to grow by insane amounts you already messed up by taking players hard earned stats. and money some players spent over 7 years working hard. which is alot of time and mems subscription. 9 99s and multiple 90+ skills was no easy feat to accomplish.

it has amazed me how ever the amount of people that voted for 07 yet the amount that shows actualy play. guess they come to reality of i cant do this all over again*

** or a auction house will be the begining of 07 making it easier for ppl that bot to sell there wares ruining the economy.

to be honest if you wanted to make runescape 3 you should have made runescape 3 servers instead of upgrading the game that people already loved to start with. taking ppls hard earned skills/time and items is kinda frustrating and you cant expect people to start all over i hope f2p works out but hell i wouldnt be surprised if it dont.
people dont have another 7-8 years to get back what they had..

tbh i played both loved mems for skilling making money but i prefered f2p pking... kinda sucks if its only a 2 week trial. should be unrestricted for everyone... even mem paying members cant hate cause they dont want to pay.
