Why have you completely abandoned regular DMM? It would have a HUGE player base instead of a waste of dead content if you actually took 30 seconds to care about it and listen to the community. The community would rather have you update regular DMM than this crap tournament where only clans win.

The reason that DMM dies every season is because players died to somebody miles ahead of them in the game due to being able to put much more time into the game (child/unemployed/streamer/rich)

So what needs to be done to make the season last longer is to implement a mechanic where casual players can stay partly close with the other players who wish to play the game all day.

You may say that DMM is an extreme mode where only the top players can play but even those players do not find it fun when they have nobody that they can kill, so both "pros" and "casual" players are needed for DMM to work.

Ways in which this could be achieved:

Add an XP/Level cap per day/week.
This would mean that for the first week all skills are capped to, let's say for example 40? Then each week this would keep increasing until it reaches 99.
This would add great variety and a lot more pking into DMM which is needed, player's wouldn't just be training/questing for days on end. They would easily reach the level cap and then be able to pk.

Quests would still be completable for rewards etc, but the level would not go above the cap.

Another option would be to add a XP SCALE.
This scale would be such as it started on a high xp amount and went down based on the amount of time you played for that day, so you would still be able to get ahead by playing for longer just not as far as usual.

I know some people are going to think this is a terrible idea as people always do when any change is suggested, however I believe this really is needed to make the seasons last longer.

The reason the first season last longer is because people stayed at lower levels for longer and people didn't just power quest/train and then kill everybody.

Thanks, Dead Mitch.

You guys were actually doing great with all of those changes.... Until you decided to leak the location of the final hour spot... Now RoT is just going to camp there from the start, end up with 20-30 members left and just suicide to the leader....again... You just ruined the outcome of the next invitational before it was anywhere near close.

FOG REPLACEMENT SUGGESTION:

Much like Fight Pits, people should be pushed together by having bloodthirsty monsters patrolling blacked out areas. Monsters that can use prot prayers and all combat styles like revenants would function as a deterrent and clean up stragglers but won't be as op as the fog but at the same time not as lackluster as just eliminating zones with the threat of insta death.

ADDED DANGER TO DMM?

BRING BACK RANDOM EVENTS:

-Introduce new DMM Randoms both rewarding and inconvenient to the player

the biggest issue is when 30 people try to attack 1 person and don't let him teleport/have a fair fight.

Can it be changed so if you kill someone who skulled on you, ya get rewarded 30 sec of immunity to log out/teleport away?
