why are skillers whinin about these ideas?


you dont have to go to wild.

You do if you want to fish the new fish under the current plan since its ONLY in the wild - given that it will likely be not only more expensive then sharks but also that sharks (and possibly other fish) will drop as the demand for them dries up...that may be the only real way to make money off fishing.

Sharks and monks were still profitable after rocktails came out. I'm not too worried about it.

A potential problem with the 'swag bag' is that it is obtained via monster drops, this could make it difficult for low level skillers to get them and put them off entering the wildy. Maybe you could make them purchasable?

Because they're so use to JaGeX holding their hands the past 7 years that they don't know how beneficial the wilderness is for them, whether they use it or not.

On the contrary I realize that most of the sharks I fished and sold in 2006-7 went straight to pkers (I'd have to have been blind to not notice that selling in w18 edgeville...). I didn't however have to be bait for them back then.

I have no issue with reviving the wilderness - so long as it doesn't come at my own personal expense. Interestingly enough I suspect pkers are in the same boat, many of them probably wouldn't mind change if it doesnt hurt them, but if it does hurt them what would they say I wonder? (Rhetorical)

If there's one thing I dislike about RS it's having to go into the wilderness...So I hope you don't make it that much worth it for skillers to go there, especially not the exp rates. If you dont go into the wilderness then dont go in it lol.... Also its not increasing xp rates..

How do you know? They added NMZ without any mention of exp rates and it turned out to be the best exp in game. If they make those noted logs or whatever stuff the best exp in-game I'll feel forced to go there.

Cuz their not adding new content if you didnt read properly, they're expanding already in game content.. Try and read lol......

Really? Those ents that you can kill and then cut down for noted logs isn't new content? Please tell me where I can find them then -.-

I vote no if they don't mention the exp rates.

It be hard not to be profitable when they cost nothing.****;_> That said sharks eventually fell so low that lobsters were more money per hour, at which point I laughed and ceased paying attention.:\

Only different I'm seeing (so far) is one's noted and one ain't. Will double check the post in more detail just to be absolutely sure.

Alright, read more of it and I only see a chance of getting better logs dependent on Axe being used.

There will likely be more info on the EXP (most likely will be congruent to the corresponding tree) as this is developed. Trying to stay skeptic on that idea though. Yup. Since it's in the wilderness, the demand will be much greater than the supply. If anything, sharks and monks will spike in price due to everybody wanting to go pking/skilling in the wilderness.
Just like Tuna potatoes, the new food would be extra, but not needed or game-changing. Everything stated here is forwarded from a major corporation. Nothing here is my opinion. Enjoy your salad.
