There are 14k people currently playing and a mere 6k will decide for all. And that's fair how?

P.S. How many people did we need to get old school back 10 thousand?

19.4k voted in the last trading survey...I expect a similar number will vote in this one.

Only 8k have voted thus far.

So over 10k have not...including myself.

the grand exchange did not ruin the economy EOC did the GE was fully functional before EOC hit along with eoc new stats on armor/wepa***s making alot of things completely useless.

The reason they gave us OSRS wasn't because of people complaining after the EOC. There were more people complaining even before the EOC.

voted yes because the last thing a new player should have to face is a scumbag mercher, period.

The first thing a new player should have to face is how to do basic things in this game, like making or finding most of the materials needed in any quest. Does this mean they should have to spend HOURS TRYING TO TRADE? No, but they are free to be noobs about it if they want to.

Glad you noticed the EoC made many things useless. That's exactly why I don't want the insta-trade. The things the GE made useless were first and foremost things I do. NOT BEING A "SCUMBAG" MERCHANT, but responding to players who need help. When noobs ask for help in RS3 the answer is almost always "buy from GE" or follow the prompts. Duh. That makes sense in a one-player game. In old-school it's "I've got one I'll sell you for 1k or you can find them at..." and if you respond "*&%$ You Noob they only worth 50gp" then you don't understand the concept of how our economy is based, let alone being able to elucidate the effects of a massive new trading system upon it.

His point isn't really "You might make new friends"...

Its the fact that Runescape is NOT a single player game. And when you add in interfaces such as a trading solution it pushes it towards a single player game. I understand some people enjoy playing the game by themselves and that's fine but there needs to be some sort of player interaction for the game to survive. You take that away and the game will slowly die.

The other point people don't consider is that it will ruin the economy. A trading solution just makes it easier for merchants to manipulate prices. All it would take is a few clicks for them to flood or starve the market of some items to drive prices up or down. It might not happen right away but if you add a trading solution it will devalue a lot of skills and resources and in the end make the game less enjoyable.

then you ADD player interactable things.......things that have already failed GROUP slayer, quests, mini games, skilling trading is not a player interactive skill you cant level it up.....why treat it as such...AND no matter what if people can get this through thei heads.....the prices ARE ALREADY MANIPULATED and merchers/bots will always find a way its proven......so why hamper 70% of runescape thats wants a faster painless trading process in no way shape or form is the way we trade painless

How are you a new player if you're buying 1k yew longs? My point is by then you should have learned some things, like how to get your fletching up or where people who sell those things like to hang out while THEY get THEIR fletching up, or at least where to find a forum where ppl are selling them. And I'm not against having such a forum in-game either, I'm only against the mentality that it's owed to you to be able to buy whatever you want, whenever, and instantly, and without any interaction or any "work" on your part.

At the heart of old-school is this: EVERY aspect of the game is centered around things getting easier for you the more "well-rounded" a character you build. At least, almost every aspect so far except many parts of this trading solution.
