Question: Should we introduce a trading post where you can post trade offers which will be visible to everyone? Offers will only appear when the seller is online and you will need to trade through the existing trading system.

Answer: No I want it to work for offline

Question: If we introduce the trading post, should players’ trade offers be visible when they are offline?

Answer: Yes

Question: If players' trades are visible when they are offline, should they be visible for more than 6 hours?

Answer: Until you take the offer down, or when the offer has bought or sold.

Question: If we introduce the trading post should players be able trade items through it rather than having to meet up to trade through the existing trade system?

Answer: Yes

Question: If we introduce a trading post through which you are able to buy items, should you be able to buy only part of a sellers offer if you want? For example, if the seller is selling 1,000 of an item, you can buy only 100 if you wish.

Answer: No, buy as much as we want.

Question: If we introduce a trading post through which you are able to buy items, should you be able to add buy offers for items and let the trading post find the best match for you?

Answer: Yes, that would work good.

Question: If we introduce a trading post that matches offers for you, should your buy offers be visible when you are offline?

Answer: Yes

If you vote no to question one because you want offline trading then yes to question two, we won't get anything. If you vote no on question one, no trade system will be implemented. This is a very poorly worded question which could harm the polling process overall.

"Question: Should we introduce a trading post where you can post trade offers which will be visible to everyone? Offers will only appear when the seller is online and you will need to trade through the existing trading system."

This question needs to be reworded. May get a lot of "no" votes from players who do want a trading post, but one where you can trade offline and through the trading post as opposed to using the existing trade interface (meeting up). As I read it, this one needs 75% for any changes to happen, yes?.

How about this instead:
"Question: Should we introduce a trading post where you can post trade offers which will be visible to everyone? Offers will only appear when the seller is online (unless 75% of players vote to allow offline) and you will need to trade through the existing trading system (unless 75% of players decide to allow for trades to occur through the trading system)."

Or make it even simpler:
"Question: Should we introduce an in-game posting system where you can post trade offers which will be visible to everyone (similar to ****)?"

Or possibly this:
"Should there be no changes made at all to the existing in game trading system?" 25% yes == no other changes.

I've been in this community since 2002, quit for several years. If you update 2007 rs again I will leave. What was the point of making 2007 rs if you're just going to release something similar to a GE? NO UPDATES LEAVE IT THE WAY IT IS. WE ARE HAPPY WITH IT THE WAY IT IS. THAT IS WHY IT IS CALLED 2007 SCAPE.

Thank You!

If it was Yes-No-No-No-No-No it would seem like a very crappy forums integration and would be useless content. I'm probably just going to vote NO to all as I would rather it not be added then to be added in a dumb way.

Im one of them that want offline trading. I mostly play overnights, and the options are much less at 4am.. It also diminishes my choices greatly. 3pm a player may have 16 options to buy the raw shark he needs for a quest; at 3am there may be zero, as I found the hard way. Just another of my 2 cents. I dont think the ease of buying and selling is going to ruin the game, someone 'buying' their 99 is still going to buy it, whether its slower or not. I dont get this forced interaction, having to still go track someone down, and oh they need to be online same time as you.. I have met a few nice ppl in bank, sure, but it was from hanging out, not from a 'trade"- the trade consists of a ty and someone walking away.

No, Perhaps create a "wanted" set up so sales can still be negotiated via PM, otherwise this would make it to easy for Merchants and the cost of items will be to low
other than that im all for The "buying" set up but at set prices

The OSRS home page is actually titled "RuneScape 2007 server"

THEY NEVER PROMISED NO UPDATES! Even during the original poll before OSRS started they said that the size of the response determined the amount of resources devoted to providing updates. They practically PROMISED that there WOULD be updates!!

But I feel like the players have much more control over these updates than we ever did in RS3, pre- or post-EOC.

Give constructive feedback to help the process or get the heck out. Just saying NONONONO is not constructive at all.

I'm willing to compromise and accept online-only trading, and I didn't at first. Are you willing to compromise in any way? I think I can practically guarantee that you will NOT be FORCED to trade in the trading post. You can continue trading however you like. Is it right to force us to NOT have it **IF** the majority want it?

I think the first poll should ask yes/no if we want SOME kind of a trading post with the details hashed out in the NEXT poll. But I think there should be a week between polls to let people argue more about features ONLY IF the 75% mark is reached. If it is true that only 68% voted yes in the previous poll (which was not worded well), a broader yes/no to SOME kind of a trading post with details to be decided later would give a clearer indication of acceptance or denial of the subject.
