But an instant offer option, allowing players to do other things and sell at the same time is what I do not want. If you choose to make money flipping rather than training you should have to be a more community prone player that sits their selling and buying items in a bank rather than training whilst your offers are running. Also, the instant buying/selling option can be manipulated buy people who will log in during peak selling times and dump items, log off or train and then come back on and get items later during the down time. I like the idea of an Auction House and having a listing of people's offers and names but that being said, I hate the idea of instant transactions even when one is not playing.

I think there is a slight flaw in the poll for this trading post.

For me personally, many of my answers will depend on the answers to other questions within the poll.

For example: If the OSRS community vote yes for trading to be done over the trading poll (like the GE) rather than meeting face to face, then I think trade offers should be visible when offline.

However, If they vote for face to face trades then I don't think that trade offers should be visible when a player goes offline as this would be pointless. You find their offer, add them to buy it, and they are offline...

I will be voting yes for trading over the trading post rather than face to face, and will therefore vote yes to trade offers appearing while players are offline. But if the rest of the OSRS community vote for face to face trading then I would want to change my vote so that trade offers don't appear while players are offline.

Do you see the dilemma?

Sorry if this is a bit confusing, I tried to word it as best I could and I hope you can understand where I am coming from. Thanks.

Is each individual pole question going to require 75% of the votes to have it implemented into the game?

This has happened in the past with polls on here and it sucks. When your answer to one question is dependant on how the majority of people vote on another question... Ugh.

Not exactly, I'd be nice to have an area we can teleport to, like a POH, that allows us to trade.

Maybe when we send an offer it'll say the to seller "player wants to buy X of item from you", then they have to accept or decline. When they accept they go to the trading zone, which is like a POH.

No, this is basically the GE at this point

Yes, at minimum I want this trade solution to replace the existing function that 3rd party websites are currently providing.

Yes, but the seller should not have the option to change that.
