I think that we need to start adding higher requirements to most of these weapons. 60 attack for d claws has always been very low creating insane combos in PvP, imagine dclaw spec switch into ballista or vice versa. The abyssal claws were much better idea requiring 70 attack.

The other raid rewards are absolutely nothing special from requirement stand point, i was expecting 80+ requirements.

Overall this is fine, but what a lot of people want are new prayers/magic tab, preferably something like or similar to ancient curses, that made prayer much more useful then it is now, which is stuck at 70 out of 99(incomplete skill in the game)

You guys had the right idea with dungeoneering rewards, they were truly awesome, and required high levels, we need more of that.

what make d claws op as a level 60 weapon is that it requires no defence to use. if there was a 60 atk and 60 def requirement then it would be pretty balanced

What are you talking about? Pures are more powerful with ballista, dds and espc. AGS than they'd ever be with d claws. Extreme pots, turmoil and OP str bonus gear was the reason d claws became too powerful. AGS was still more powerful, as you can 1 tick with AGS (something you can't with claws). Since when did we have defence requirements on weapons anyway? Adding 60 defence as a requirement would make d claws broken content..... Stop downvoting items you don't understand and link them to rs3 mechanics.

D claws and 60 att pures - you can blowpipe + ballista (more op) at much lower lvls. Dds can max 92 just as the first (thus All) hit of thw dclaws spec can hit 0.

We don't have turmoil or super high str bonus gear as in late rs2 when claws were op.

Why won't ANY Jagex Mods acknowledge the questions and concerns about the elder platelegs? They have -5 ranged defence while the rest of the set offers good defences. Is that an error or intentional and why can't anybody ever answer that?

raid related to Ancients. Claws of zaros weapon similar to dragon claws but with a bit higher stats for general use and a spec, "rending darkness," that does 75% of your max hit on the first strick, 50% on second, and 25% on 3rd and 4th. Add an ancient godspell: Chains of Zaros-- animation is a black sphere appears on target and glowing purple chains shoot out in all directions hitting 20. A zaros god cape which is shaped like an "X" draped down the palyers back with a ring uniting the sides, with a charge spell allows to hit 30. A new ancient staff which is similar to the original but has 2 of the circular tops perpendicular to eachother so that it is 3 dimensional like a mace almost. this staff is required for the spell to be cast and has higher stats than a regular ancients staff. It is tradeable and probably settles at about 1-2m gp. An item that functions similar to kraken tentacle and blessed tear which consumes the ancient staff after x casts, is a charm which hangs from it on a chain. It's nature is caustic and it adds a miasmic affect to the chains of zaros spell which slows it's targets attack speed and forces them into a "walk" state for x amount of seconds. (like they are being held back by the chains.) A dose of stamina potion would alleviate these effects instantly, as well as preventing them from occuring again during the time that the stamina potion increased energy refill rate as a countmeasure to the obviously dangerous effects. New bow called Nex Wing shaped like a devils wing with high accuracy stats and attack speed of 7 on rapid. It can fire arrows through dragon and introduces a new arrow level 75 which has a strength of 75-- call it what you will. The bows special "after image," has a 100% chance to hit at least 10, but can hit up to your regular max, then hits that damage again 20% at a time over 5 hits at a speed of 6. then a new set of prayers called hexes, which are blood magic which drains hp and prayer but have very powerful effects.

Edit: The claws are called Hand of Zaros. The weakened special is a counterbalance to the higher stats. Raid armors should definintely be degradable but repairable. Dark Creed Robes-- Stats comparable to Ahrims, but with added +hp. Dark Creed Hood has +1 hp while equipped. Dark Creed Mantle had +5hp, and Dark Creed Robe has +3hp. Fastidious Shroud ranged gear. Fastidious Shroud mask with + 3 hp, Fastidious Shroud Jerkin +7hp, and Fastidious Shroud chaps with +5hp. Unyielding Dusk melee armor: Unyielding Dusk Casque +5 hp, Unyielding Dusk Carapace with +9 hp, and Unyielding Dusk Greaves with +7hp. Mage robes have stats slightly above ahrims area with +9 hp total, Ranged have stats aboves karils/armadyl/black with +15hp total, and Melee have stats just a bit above barrows sets with +21 hp total.

I plan to vote no on all of this.

Imo, raids needs self-contained rewards similar to what dungeoneering had, i.e. you will become better at raids but no new top-tier items will be introduced outside of raids itself. To continue the dungeoneering parallel with an example: I loved using the hexhunter bow in dg, but was quite happy that such an item did not make it out of the dungeons. Similarly, it was cool to have top-tier equipment in dg while I was dirt poor outside of it, and vice versa.

I do see the logic for providing an incentive/reward for raids that can be used outside of it, but with the vast pool of existing items that should definitely be possible. It doesn't require the addition of new stuff to make raids rewarding even outside of the raids.
