My goodness.
I started playing Runescape in late 2004.
I played through all of the changes and problems that the game faced, as I'm sure a lot OSRS players did.
SO.
I'm looking at these potential rewards..
Here is my opinion.
I like dragon claws, but I dislike the special attack.
Instead of the original special attack I would like to see
a special attack that looks like this:
60% cost,
A SINGLE hit with a 40% damage increase.
It causes the recipient (if successful) of this attack to "bleed" (similar to poison, but starting at 10 damage and hitting at twice the rate of poison)
Instead of dropping new armors that are overpowered compared to the content we currently have available, why not create some new consumables?
Here are some examples.
HERBLORE
Rare additional ingredients to improve existing potions,(ie extending boosts, improving boosts)
6 dose vials
10 dose bottles
BANDAGES
Some kind of special cloth could be dropped in small amounts that would be used to craft different tiers of bandages. Bandages could have a variety of different effects depending on the type created. The most notable effect would be the curing of bleed effects.
ARMOR AND WEAPON AUGMENTATION
I like the thinking behind the Kraken tentacle.
Instead of dropping new OP gear, drop materials for weapon/armor augmentation kits.
I like the idea behind having to collect multiple shards of a godsword to complete the item, lets bring that concept along with this idea.
Each augmentation kit would require 3 special magical enchanted rare fancy ore materials to be crafted into the kit, using smithing, for melee armors, crafting for ranged equipments, and maybe a combination of runecrafting and magic for the magical equipments.
There can be different styles of augmentation also, ie, +str bonus, +def bonus, +ranged str, + ranged accuracy.
In this limited space, I will say, please expand your imaginations a little bit, instead of adding just OP armor and weapons.
Thank you.
