We polled a few variants that we could do with the resources available to us at the time. Players weren't keen. I reckon in future we'll either find players just change their minds, or we'll maybe get to a position where we can offer a more elaborate system that would suit them better.

Any hill giant with loot will drop this key, as far as I can tell, since they all use the same drop list, but rings of wealth have nothing to do with it.

Changes to Wintertodt drops seem very fair and reasonable ^_^

Seriously jagex, Us mid/low level players have no chance of obtaining a key for this boss, even though its a low/mid level boss as all the high level's have control in all the spawn spots thoughtout the worlds.

so thanks for this, now all the high level's can make the unique drop crash in price then give it back to the lower levels once the boss is worthless.

There is more than 1 location for Hill Giants and every single one drops the key, you know that right?
