There is no reason for this at all other than to make runecrafting easier at the early levels, I would much rather see old quests come to osrs, iirc "you" have told us that there are also quests that are near completion in the archives, I myself and I'm sure that others would be happy to see them instead.

Runecrafting has a reputation as the skill that requires the most grinding to reach a high level in. It's the closest thing to an ultimate 99 in Runescape. Personally, I'm not much of a Runecrafter, but I understand and respect the desires of the other players here to keep Runecrafting training the way it is: a slow grind.

This wouldn't provide much value to OSRS, and would make a lot of other players unhappy.

Someone whos considerate and doesn't want to ruin other players achievements for personal gain! What a rare sight in the OSRS community.

It's also one of the most blown out of proportion "hardest" 99s in Runescape history before Runespan on RS3. The only thing with runecrafting is how slow it is. Everyone forgets how you make so much money off it getting 99 and how it's one of the only real viable non-cb money making skills left.

I can guarentee you if Jagex had made it so woodcutting, fishing, mining you were forced to do as much clicking as you do in their respective 2 tick/3 tick methods people would far rather runecraft for 10 hours a day over them.

The existence of Stamina potions means that the experience rates would likely be a little higher than what the chart would indicate, which I don't feel is problematic. I can see this being a lucrative PVP area for Deadman Mode since getting blood and soul runes early game is either very challenging or very expensive, and it would also be a convenient place to acquire a wide variety of runes for relatively low cost without having to search for talismans for hours on end.

If this were to be introduced, I'd like to see one or two Agility shortcuts added to the "safe" path, displayed in the image below:

The
green
ring represents an Agility shortcut I'd very much like to see in that location, while the
purple
ring refers to a shortcut that I'd like to see, but I'm not sure if it's positioned in such a way as to topple the balance of the "safe but slow versus fast and dangerous" path. One option is to transform that brown square in the lava to the left of the
purple
ring into a small islet featuring agility jumps on either side. This islet would provide both a
2-step agility shortcut like the high level Cosmic Altar shortcut
as well as a unique place for Mages or Rangers to lie in wait for potential victims in Deadman Mode.
The Agility shortcuts are thematically similar to the
shortcuts on the way to the Cosmic rune altar
, and would serve to both
reward those who invest their time in Agility with a quicker route
while providing
viable means of escape (or ambush) in Deadman Mode.

Another idea could be to implement personal hotspots where players can build bridges using planks and Construction. They'd provide limited uses before the heat from the lava burns them up, with superior planks providing more uses and requiring higher levels to construct.
I originally had the name Llama. It was stolen from me.

Instead of adding more and more content in the form of never before seen/ heard of in-game, (this, zeah, etc.) why not start finishing your current content. We have the Varrock museum barge, 'Return of Zaros' questline, Dragonkin, East of Meiyerditch, Menaphos and the area south of there, south of the Feldip hunter area, and north of Godwars dungeon all to be finished. Just complete OSRS before adding to it please.

Don't get me wrong I like new things like Zulrah / GE I just think the game's completion should be a higher priority.

just my 2 cents

You don't think the fact that Runecrafting is such a slow 99 and therefore something a lot of people find too daunting to go makes it a hard 99? If so what do you think actually makes a skill hard?

Also there's plenty of viable non- cb money making skills left. People can make plenty of bank with the likes of Hunter, Smithing and Farming. You can pretty much make profit doing almost any skill on OSRS other than a few buyables.
