You should be doing the gold chest in every room anyway! They're all the same chance of a sceptre.
It's bad to do the grand chests in low rooms if you put exp rates above getting a sceptre once in a full moon. Urns would have been a better choice, but I can live with this approach.

regarding the rogues set and gloves of silence.
Are gloves of silence very effective when pickpocketing?
And, do you think that in the future the gloves of silence effect might be combined to rogues set in some way?
or is it going to stay a trade off between gloves of silence or potential double loot?
I guess I'm trying to work out whether gloves of silence are worth using or not, or if they are now pretty much redundant.
The rogue's set actually has a scaling boost to double pickpocketing. Each provides a % chance of getting double loot, which adds to a 100% effect for the full set.

The sceptre is 1/1000 each chest, it happens fairly often! Especially with so many chances each PP run.

I'm not sure that answered my query.....
I was offering more information on the fact, that the trade off isn't directly one or the other. You can sacrafice a small % of the double pickpocket loot in order to have the gloves effect.

Gloves of Silence are completely redundant if you've unlocked the Ardougne hard reward, since the diary reward is bigger and doesn't stack with the Gloves of Silence. That might be of some help to you.

What about a pet-getting-pet? Whenever you get a pet, you have a 10% chance of getting a megarare pet.
Possibly if you get enough pets, your pets get fleas or something. That'd be nice.

I suppose, I never bothered in RS2 because sceptre weren't that much, but in OSRS it does have a decent price, so I'll just have to get used to doing them in all rooms.
Players can now enter the Arzinian gold mine after defeating the demon before collecting the quest reward in order to complete the achievement diary task.
how do you get in the mine after killing the boss?
