regarding the rogues set and gloves of silence.

Are gloves of silence very effective when pickpocketing?

And, do you think that in the future the gloves of silence effect might be combined to rogues set in some way?

or is it going to stay a trade off between gloves of silence or potential double loot?

I guess I'm trying to work out whether gloves of silence are worth using or not, or if they are now pretty much redundant.

Not sure. I've submitted it for testing, but wouldn't be able to guarantee when the testers will be satisfied with it. The blast furnace code isn't especially simple to tie things like this into.

The rogue's set actually has a scaling boost to double pickpocketing. Each provides a % chance of getting double loot, which adds to a 100% effect for the full set. Twitter: @JagexKiere*

I'm assuming that's considered as a fire rune, so red? I believe it depends on the color of the rune.

Yes, doing combination runes also provides a chance at the runecrafting pet (you receive the one for the altar you are at). Twitter: @JagexKiere*

Would motivate many to continue training firemaking, seeing as it's just another buyable, but then again, they'd have to create a pet for crafting, mining and all the rest.
